CM Responds to BJP’s ‘Typing Error’ Remark on Deputy Speaker Selection

ಸಿಎಂ‌ ಮಾತಿನ ಮಧ್ಯೆ 'ಉಪಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಟೈಪಿಂಗ್ ತಪ್ಪಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ' ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, 'ಆಯಿತು, ನಿಮ್ಮ‌ ಮಾತನ್ನೂ ಒಪ್ಪೋಣ. ಆದರೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗ್ಗ ಜಗ್ಗಾಟ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾಕಡೆಯೂ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಜಗ್ಗಾಟ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಕಾಳ್ ವೈದ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮನವೊಲಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು' ಎಂದರು.


When BJP leader Sunil Kumar said that the selection of the Deputy Speaker had occurred due to a “typing error,” the CM responded that even if the remark was accepted, all members had collectively placed Mankal Vaidya in the position. He said political tug-of-war happens everywhere, but there was no such disagreement within their side. The CM added that it was difficult to convince Mankal Vaidya to accept the post.
