Power Is Not Permanent, Public Service Is: Leader Urges Respectful Politics

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬಂದವನು. ನಾನು ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ‌. ಆದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಯೌವನ, ಹಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಒಂದು ಕರೆ ಸೇರಬಾರದು. ಇದು ಬಹಳ ಅಪಾಯ ಎಂದರು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆ. ಯಾರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಈ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ದ್ವೇಷ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ. ಮುಕ್ತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಆಗಬಾರದು. ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಟೀಕೆ ಇರಲಿ, ಜನ ಸೇವೆ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದರು‌.

A political leader reflected on his journey from his student days to politics, saying that he has experienced power but understands that positions of authority are never permanent. He stressed that youth, money and power should not come together unchecked, calling it a dangerous combination. He said he has always respected the position he holds and would never use it to harbour hatred against anyone. He pledged to serve the people of the state with an open mind and emphasized that political power must never be misused. He also said criticism from the Opposition is part of democracy, but public service should remain the ultimate priority.
