HD Kumaraswamy Slams Karnataka Govt Over ‘Bharat Jodo’ Youth Group


'ಭಾರತ್ ಜೋಡೋ' ಯುವ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಡೂರಾವ್ ಕಾಲದ ರೌಡಿಸಂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ತರಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ @INCKarnataka ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಡಿಸಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಘಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ತಲಾ 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ನೀಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ, ಬಡವನ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಬೆಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡು.ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಾರೋಷವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇಸ್ಪೀಟ್ ದಂಧೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಮ್ಮಕ್ಕು ನೀಡಲೆಂದೇ ಈ ಸಂಘಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ? ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್‍ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ


Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has strongly criticized the Karnataka government over its proposed ‘Bharat Jodo’ youth groups. He alleged that the government is attempting to bring back what he described as the “rowdyism culture” of the Gundu Rao era.
Kumaraswamy questioned the proposed funding of ₹10 lakh per group and criticized the ₹5 lakh compensation announced for the family of a deceased person. He also questioned whether these groups were being formed to encourage gambling activities allegedly taking place openly in Bengaluru.
He demanded that the affected poor family be provided compensation of at least ₹50 lakh.
