00:00They were super excited about it.
00:02That was the first thing I heard from people was the stuff
00:04at the line of scrimmage is really impressive.
00:06Yeah.
00:06So that was the top thing they were talking about before he got drafted.
00:09And are we fine with that in today's NFL,
00:11even though running backs are getting paid?
00:13I mean, that's something we would normally say about Jamal Adams.
00:16And I'm not saying he's not going to be good in coverage,
00:18but are we going to be talking about him more against the run
00:21versus what he does highlight-wise against the pass?
00:24I don't think so.
00:26Maybe I'm having a hard time figuring out the question because it's early.
00:30But what I would answer to that is I think we're going to be talking
00:35about the fact that he's where he's supposed to be.
00:38He's going to line himself up to get where he's supposed to be.
00:41If the height is a problem overall, then he probably will shift
00:46into more of a nickel-corner type guy that you would play
00:50and you would want to be that height.
00:53His football smart is going to take him to levels
00:55that is going to make him successful.
00:58So if he's going to be back in deep safety or he's going to be a slot corner
01:03or he's going to go in there.
01:05I saw the video yesterday.
01:07Have y'all seen it where he goes in there?
01:09Bobby, put it out.
01:10Tyler Smith?
01:11Mm-hmm.
01:11Okay, well, he didn't win that one.
01:13You know what?
01:13He shouldn't win that one.
01:14He should never win that one.
01:16And we would be talking about Tyler Smith right now if he did.
01:19Yeah.
01:19Yeah, so that's – but he –
01:22And he covered – you watched him cover tight ends in college.
01:25Yes, yes.
01:25There's a height mismatch.
01:26Were you alarmed or taken aback by his height out here?
01:30And what's your in-person Downs report?
01:32He is smaller.
01:33I think for me, my vision is Troy Palomalo,
01:36another guy that played near the line of scrimmage.
01:38Oh, he's awesome.
01:40That's who he models himself as.
01:41Yeah, and I think Caleb Downs, there you go.
01:44You know, that's – just let him freelance.
01:46I thought at one point, I thought Troy Palomalo was the best player in football.
01:50I mean, because you'd watch a Steelers game.
01:53He's flying over the top at the line of scrimmage.
01:56He just – he was just guessing right all the time.
01:58If he had a buzz cut, would you have felt that way?
01:59You never would have noticed him.
02:02No, I don't agree with that, no.
02:04Because he was at the line of scrimmage.
02:06He was a deep safety.
02:07The hair helped.
02:08Yeah, this might be the shortest safety room in football.
02:11When you see P.J. Locke, Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs stay next to each other,
02:15it's, whoa, those guys definitely are shorter than everybody else.
02:18Yeah, that's true.
