Watch this clip where a man stops during rush hour to rescue a tiny possum stranded on a busy freeway in Orange County, California.
Matthew Ray from Walnut, California, USA, was driving eastbound on the 91 Freeway when he spotted the vulnerable baby possum in the middle of the road. Rather than leaving the animal in danger, Matthew and fellow motorists stopped their vehicles and carefully made their way across the busy freeway to reach it.
The little possum was safely rescued from the traffic and given some much-needed love and care. Matthew also thanked Leah Bowler for stopping to help, as well as the many drivers who paused on the freeway and allowed them to safely get to the other side.
