Watch as two young men lead a dramatic rescue after finding a cow trapped inside a narrow roadside drainage ditch.

The heartwarming footage, filmed by Li Xiangxiang, on the road between Daocheng and Lugu Lake in Sichuan, China, shows the distressed brown cow wedged inside the concrete ditch and unable to free itself.

The rescuers, identified as Zhaxi and Gesang, initially struggle to pull the heavy animal out and call for additional help. With a combined effort, the men manage to lift the cow from the ditch and guide it safely onto the road.

The exhausted animal is left trembling and appears too weak to walk properly, with visible injuries around its hindquarters following the fall.

The selfless rescue saved the cow from being trapped in the ditch, with the filmer expressing gratitude to the men for stepping in to help.
