Watch as a huge tree branch crashes down onto a rental car parked outside a house while its owner is asleep inside.
The dramatic footage shared by Megan Rüger in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, shows the Mazda rental car being crushed after a large branch broke away from a huge oak tree.
The car was parked in the driveway when the branch suddenly snapped from the tree and came crashing down, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
The vehicle's owner, Megan Rüger, is an American country and pop-rock singer-songwriter who previously competed on Season 6 of NBC's The Voice as a member of Team Blake Shelton.
Ruger says the rental company later charged her a $2,000 deductible for the damage, leaving her facing an unexpected financial setback.
The unfortunate incident left the rental car badly damaged, with Rüger now trying to deal with the cost while also continuing with her music career.
The dramatic footage was shared online. One user commented: "Nooooooo. 2k debatable. That is highway robbery."
