00:48Now all of a sudden to be competing for a possible, you know, division crown and making trades at a
00:56deadline where you're trying to improve the team.
00:59So it doesn't take that long in Major League Baseball.

01:09And if you draft correctly, make some trade, two years, you can turn it around.

01:34And then to get, like, you almost have to have two or three superstars to even compete or win it

01:47I mean, Cleveland's always bad.
01:48I don't know if you want to put them in the same boat with football.
01:50But Arizona and Miami are considered to be the worst two teams in the NFL this season, at least the

01:56And I would tell you this, Joe, that the Cardinals and Dolphins next season, not this, but next season, have

03:24oh, the Dodgers getting Scooble, now put things over the top for the, no, that had nothing to do with

03:30The Dodgers made a trade, like, that had nothing to do with it.
03:33But anybody could have made the trade.
03:35I don't blame the teams for not making the trade, but anybody could have acquired Scooble very easily
03:40and traded the rest of their farm system away to get the guy.
03:43But they didn't want to do it, and the Dodgers did.
03:45So that doesn't put everybody over the top.
03:48The Dodgers, what would seal it for the narrative that people want would be the Dodgers winning the World Series
03:57and, like, sweeping, Joe.
03:58Like, that would, of course, push the narrative forward.
04:03But last year, they were within an inch of losing.
04:06So, you know, that didn't help the narrative.
04:09But, yeah, clearly, if L.A. played Tampa or played Boston, just throwing those teams out there,
04:16in the World Series and 1-4 or 1-5, yeah, yeah, there'd be a lot of people going,
04:22all right, enough's enough.
