00:00Two, one...
00:08Lima 27 activated.
00:12Today marks the beginning of another important journey
00:15for Malaysia as well officially.
00:18Comments, preparation for the 18th edition
00:21of one of the Asia Pacific region's most prestigious
00:25maritime and aerospace exhibition.
00:27Lima has evolved far beyond being an exhibition.
00:33It has become a strategic platform that strengthens
00:37international defence diplomacy,
00:39accelerates technological innovations,
00:42promotes industrial collaboration
00:44and creates meaningful economic opportunities
00:48for Malaysia and our international partners.
00:50For Lima 2027, we proudly introduce the theme
00:56sustainable vision across sea, sky and space.
01:01This theme reflects our aspiration to ensure that
01:05future defence and security development is not only
01:08technologically advanced but also sustainable, resilient and beneficial for future generations.
01:15Ladies and gentlemen, the tremendous success of Lima 2035 has strengthened
01:22Malaysia's reputation as a trusted host for one of the world's leading defence,
01:28maritime and aerospace exhibitions.
01:30I would like to record my appreciation to Global Exhibition and Conferences
01:35Senea Prahat GEC for once again serving as a co-organiser of Lima 2027
01:42together with the Ministry of Defence Malaysia.
01:46I am confident that this close co-organisation will ensure
01:51another successful edition of Lima.
01:55The local and international response since the soft launch of Lima 2027
02:00as mentioned by the chairman during the ACA 26 has been extremely encouraging.
02:05Within two months, approximately about 40% of the exhibition space has already been reserved
02:12by the exhibitors from local and around the world.
02:15This achievement reflects the international community's confidence in Malaysia
02:22and reinforces Lima position as a preferred platform for defence diplomacy,
02:28technological collaboration and strategic business engagement across the Asia Pacific region.
02:36Posted under current momentum, we expect Lima 2027 to welcome up to 930 exhibiting companies
02:45marking about 15% increase from previous editions.
02:49Participation from 36 countries and has measured about 60,000 trade visitors
02:55expected attendance of up to 400,000 public visitors,
03:01450 international delegates representing 65 countries,
03:08up to 110 aircraft and air assets and approximately about 90 sable vessels and maritime assets.
03:17So this projection demonstrates not only the continued growth of Lima
03:22but also Malaysia increasing importance within the global defence maritime and aerospace ecosystem.
03:30This is the case.
03:32To further implementing Lima's international profile,
03:36we are also pleased to note that invitation has been extended
03:40to four internationally re-owned aerobatic display teams,
03:45namely Black Eagles from the Republic of Korea,
03:49Al-Fursan from the United States Arab Emirates,
03:53United Arab Emirates,
03:55Jupiter Aerobatic Team from Indonesia and Russia,
04:00Knights from the Russian Federation.
04:02Their participation will be subject to final confirmation
04:06and the prevailing geopolitical environment.
04:09Ladies and gentlemen, beyond the exhibition itself,
04:13Lima continues to strengthen its engagement with the wider community.
04:17As part of the journey towards Lima 27,
04:20we will organise Lima Run on 25 Oktober 2036 at Dataran DBKL while ready.
04:27This programme promotes healthy and sustainable lifestyles
04:31while strengthening public engagement with the Ministry of Defence
04:35and building nationwide excitement towards Lima 2027.
04:40Another key highlights of the Lima 2027 is our strategic focus on eight segments
04:45that are aligned with Malaysia's defence priorities.
04:49These include autonomous vessel and UAV development technologies,
04:56aeronatics and instrumentation technologies,
05:01cyber security and artificial intelligence,
05:05advanced weapon system and ammunition technologies,
05:09critical infrastructure security and defence system,
05:13satellite communication and defence system,
05:17military air and sea base,
05:20ground vehicle system,
05:21and of course, not forgotten,
05:23the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief system.
05:27This core segment reflects Malaysia commitment
05:30to developing future defence capabilities
05:32and set reliance through innovations,
05:36local industry development,
05:38technological excellence
05:39and stronger international collaboration.
05:51Thank you so much for tuning in.
05:52Let's take a second note.
05:52This really started looking for months,
05:52once I threw back home with nicely and my thing,
05:52I'm really going through.
