00:16Anwar said the measures are aimed at curbing cross-border crime while safeguarding the country's
00:22security and sovereignty.
00:23He said the entire government machinery would uphold His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of
00:29Malaysia's decree to strengthen governance, enforcement and national security while ensuring
00:35the well-being of the rakyat.
00:37Anwar said this in a social media post on Saturday following an audience with Sultan Ibrahim.
00:43Anwar also said the findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry report on Lumbaga Tabung Haji would
00:49be investigated thoroughly in line with His Majesty's decree.
00:53He said this is in keeping with the Madani administration's commitment to ensuring all
00:58recommendations and findings are investigated swiftly and without compromise.
01:04Anwar said Tabung Haji manages funds entrusted by millions of Malaysians, including farmers,
01:10civil servants and those from middle- and lower-income groups who save for years to perform the Hajj.
01:16He stressed that anyone who abuses that trust must be brought to justice.
01:21Anwar added that Sultan Ibrahim also raised developments involving the Federal Land Development Authority,
01:29or FELDA, and was briefed on the progress of investigations by the Special Task Force as
01:35well as its reports.
01:36Anwar said the Madani administration remains firmly committed to good governance, transparency and
01:42accountability, ensuring justice is upheld and any betrayal of the people's trust is dealt
01:48with firmly regardless of position or rank.
