00:12The King said ministries and relevant agencies must strengthen enforcement, continuous monitoring
00:18and cooperation to ensure the country's borders remain secure.
00:22The King said the measures were necessary to combat drug trafficking and other cross-border
00:27criminal activities that could threaten public safety and order.
00:31The call comes amid recent cases involving Malaysians that have put airport security under
00:36the spotlight.
00:37This includes the arrest of a Malaysian pilot after Indonesian authorities seized 26 kg of
00:44MDMA from the pilot's luggage at Suecano Hatta International Airport on July 28.
00:50His Majesty issued the call in a Facebook post on Saturday after granting an audience to
00:56Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Istana Bukit Tunku.
01:00During the audience, the King was also briefed on the Royal Commission of Inquiry report concerning
01:07Lembaga Tabung Haji, as well as current issues involving the Federal Land Development Authority,
01:13or FELDA.
01:13The RCI was appointed on January 20, 2022, to examine issues involving Tabung Haji, with
01:21the report covering the Pilgrimage Fund's management from 2014 to 2020.
01:27The Cabinet declassified and released the report on July 29.
01:32FELDA has also come under scrutiny over its financial position, with Anwar saying last month that excessive
01:39political interference had left the agency saddled with almost 10 billion ringgit in debt.
01:45Sultan Ibrahim said investigations must be carried out thoroughly to ensure those responsible
01:51are held accountable and similar incidents do not recur.
01:56His Majesty said no one found guilty of any offence involving Tabung Haji or FELDA should
