Transcript
00:00We want to look at the U.S. market heat map, which provides a visual snapshot of the S&P
00:06500 stocks across different sectors and industries.
00:10So on this map, the size of each box presents the company's market capitalization, meaning the larger the box, the
00:16bigger the company.
00:18And the stocks are grouped by sectors, giving investors a quick overview of market sentiment and actually helps identify which
00:25sectors and companies are leading the market and which ones are under pressure.
00:30So green means gains and trading higher, whereas red indicates losses and trading lower.
00:35So the darker the shade, the bigger the move, whether positive or negative.
00:40So I'm going to start with Meta first that lies under the communication services.
00:45It shows red color here and stood at the level of 656.73 and decreases 1.86 percent.
00:53So the latest update on Meta, Meta said on Monday its data center in Richland Parish, Louisiana, will expand to
01:015 gigawatts of compute capacity with investment in the project increasing to more than $50 billion.
01:07The planned data center known as Haperian was earlier projected to deliver more than 2 gigawatts of compute capacity to
01:15support training of large language models, the technology behind tools such as ChatGPT.
01:20So that's the latest update on Meta.
01:23Meanwhile, let's move on to JP Morgan.
01:26JP Morgan is here.
01:27That shows some sort of almost red color and stood at the level of points of 334.53 and was
01:36decreased by 0.58 percent.
01:39A little percentage here.
01:40But the latest update on JP Morgan, we can see that the CEO, Jimmy Damon, has received a letter from
01:46Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren about whether he lobbied the UK government against a tax on bankers' bonuses on the advice
01:54of Jeffrey Epstein, the Senate Banking Committee said on Monday.
01:58And the news follows the release of a cache of documents earlier this year by the U.S. Department of
02:04Justice that has piled pressure on some policymakers and high-profile executives on their links with a late convicted sex
02:12offender.
02:13And that's the update on JP Morgan that lies under the financial.
02:17And next, move on to Intel.
02:19Let's move on to Intel.
02:20Under the technology, semiconductors shows some sort of almost red color as well.
02:26And the level is 103.12.
02:29Also decreased, quite significant, with 6.12 percent.
02:34And Intel has begun a $5.7 billion capital investment to upgrade its Irish campus and expand its European output
02:42to meet growing global demand for AI and high-performance computing, the U.S. chipmaker said on Monday.
02:48And Intel said the move would upgrade and maximize capacity at its facility in Lake Slip outside Dublin that produces
02:56Intel 3 silicon wafers, which the company says is the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility of its kind in Europe.
03:04And Executive Vice President of Intel Foundry, Naga Chandrasekharan, said it will also link the facility to other factories at
03:11the campus, Intel's European manufacturing base, and as well as advanced research and development and retrain staff.
