A delivery agent, Kumar Rao, was arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly molesting a Brazilian model at her RT Nagar home. Police said Rao, under the pretext of delivering food, inappropriately touched her. The incident occurred on October 17 and was reported on October 25. CCTV footage confirmed the alleged act.

00:26The accused has been identified as Kumar Rao Pawar, a resident of Aarti Nagar, a college student pursuing studies at a private institution in Bengaluru,

00:39According to the complaint lodged by Karthik, who manages the company employing the woman,
00:45she was residing in an apartment in Aarti Nagar in Bengaluru, along with two other models, Victoria and Emily.

01:06What is Blinkit saying in its defence?

01:19He was studying in a college, and he went to deliver food which was being ordered by this particular model.

01:27and she was in a shock when, on a pre-test of delivering the food items to the model,
01:33he tried to touch her inappropriately.
01:35And she was in a shock, she didn't even tell anybody,
01:38and after that, went to the house.
01:42That's when she revealed that one of the delivery boy tried to molest her.
01:45And thereafter, when they examined the CCTV footage, they realised how bad he was,
01:50and thereafter, they filed a police complaint.

01:54and arrested the accused, and investigation is underway.

03:06I do understand and have been to Vasudev Ghat on several occasions.
03:10That particular stretch has always been very clean, isn't it?
03:13The way it's been designed.
03:14But the froth is usually seen at where you are and also in the other parts of the Yamuna,
03:21like the Kalindi Kunsh, for example.
03:23So, what's the truth?
03:24Has the entire stretch been cleaned up or is it only the Vasudev Ghat?
03:27Well, Sneha, there are two pictures and two different stories.
03:35Let's begin with the one on positive note right behind me is the Chhat Ghat at ITO,
03:42the iconic Chhat Ghat where we had seen as to how the Purwanchali culture expanded
03:48and flourished in the national capital during the Shila Dixit government
03:51and then came Arvind Keshawal government, the ban order and all of that,
03:55the controversies around froth on Yamuna as well.
03:59Usually, on the surface of Yamuna, in the erstwhile Arvind Keshawal government,
04:04you would see froth and foam and those offering prayers, the Chhat Fratis, the Purwanchalis
04:10and those who had faith in the festival, when they would come here to offer their prayers,
04:15you would see a cloud-like situation unfolding where the froth would cover the Chhat Fratis.
04:22But this is the picture from ground zero at ITO where Chhat Pooja has been conducted.
04:29Both ARGs have been conducted.
04:31The facilities are actually, they have been completely ramped up.
04:35I am standing right at the ghats and you could see here there are wooden planks
04:39in order to make sure the Chhat Fratis don't lose their balance.
04:43Out there are the bamboo boundary walls in order to make sure,
04:47one, the safety of these Chhat Fratis, second, to ensure that these flowers and other stuff
04:54do not go into the Yamuna, so that aspect has been also taken care of.
05:00On the surface of Yamuna, we do not see any kind of froth or foam which would be the case
05:08otherwise in the past few years.
05:11These are the workers who are now removing the planks, the borders and the bamboo planks
05:19which have been put up to separate Yamuna from the area where the ARG was being given.
05:25But if you look at the surface of Yamuna, there is no foam, there is no froth.
05:30And this actually leads you towards Kalindi, Kunj and at ITO certainly there is no froth.
05:37At Vasudev Ghat, there is no froth.
05:40And even at Sonia, Vihar area which is far more cleaner patch of Yamuna
05:45because that's from where the journey also begins.
05:50You know, the situation was completely clean.
05:53Having said that, Sveha, we also need to understand
05:56not having froth on the surface of Yamuna
06:00and to have a cleaner Yamuna.
06:03These are two different pictures and aspects
06:05because we know for a matter of fact that chemical deformers
06:09are being used round the clock by the Delhi government
06:12and it was also being used by Arvind K. Jewal government
06:16when they were in crisis.
06:18Crisis in the sense when the froth will take over, the foam would take over,

07:16the BOD levels are at concerning level,
07:19the fecal coliform are at concerning level.
07:22These are the claims that were made by Amadmi Party
07:25referring to a DPCC report,
07:28that is Delhi Pollution Control Board report.
07:31The samples of that were taken on 9th of October
07:34and the report was published on 23rd of October.

07:39had put out that particular report saying that
07:41the fecal coliform levels at ISBT,
07:47at Wazirabad,
07:48these were quite high
07:50and so at ITO.
07:52So, the sample that was taken at ITO
07:54on 9th of October,
07:55if the report is to be believed
07:57and that is not,
07:59you know,
07:59some sort of mistreatment
08:02has not been done with the report,
08:05the fecal coliform at ITO
08:07on the 9th of October,
08:09a sample was 8,000,
08:11which is three times the allowed permissible limit.
08:14So, all of that is also a concern
08:16which the experts are also speaking about.
08:18But having said that,
08:19yes,
08:20visually,
08:21you know,
08:22there is no froth,
08:23no foam.
08:23So, it is actually a much pleasing picture
08:26than to compare to the past few years.
