00:00I mean, this company has grown revenue 14x, you know, over the space of the last 12 months.
00:06So clearly, they have a lot going right for them.
00:11I mean, the one thing I would put a caveat on here is we have seen open source models really
00:18narrow the gap.
00:20So even though Anthropix numbers look stellar here, I feel like everyone right now is looking to deploy AI,
00:29but not use the frontier models.
00:32And we just saw some news around open AI cutting their prices for tokens.
00:37So it feels like now we are at a point where everyone wants to undercut each other
00:44to make sure they have the market share in terms of the frontier models.
00:50And that may be that kind of catalyst to slow things down for Anthropic.
00:57But they've executed very well, and the numbers are just a reflection of that.
01:02So you don't see that dynamic evident in the latest numbers, though, do you?
01:06No.
01:07I think so far, the frontier models had a clear lead, and people were willing to pay for the frontier
01:14models because...
01:15A frontier model is like Claude ChatGPT.
01:20Claude ChatGPT over Gemini or the open source models.
01:24Because there was a clear gap, and everyone was willing to pay whatever Anthropic was asking them to pay
01:31in terms of token pricing, they were willing to pay.
01:34But now with open source models closing that gap, and now there are a lot of routing companies
01:40that help you use the most appropriate model relevant to the query,
01:45so you don't end up using the most expensive model,
01:48but the model that is appropriate for the query that you have.
01:52Speaking of models that are appropriate, OpenAI is launching a ChatGPT for teens,
01:57which is a version of its chatbot aimed at children aged 13 to 17,
02:01encouraging safe usage and deeper learning.
02:03Is that possible?
02:04Well, I mean, all these models have problems with putting guardrails.
02:10That's why, you know, Mythos was never released to the public.
02:13The U.S. government said they need to be approved before, you know, it was broadly released.
02:19And I feel like even now, whatever guardrails you have in place can be jailbroken.
02:26And, you know, people can get around it, which is why these models have capabilities.
02:32Yeah, you can say this is more for teens, and we've put their guardrails around.
02:36Please come on to get down.
02:37not being able to carry on
