00:00We're going to start with a big loser today, and that would be Klarna, the payments company.
00:04Stock is down 18% here pre-market.
00:06So Klarna cut its expectations for revenue this year.
00:09It is citing foreign exchange pressures and lower volumes in Germany.
00:13Also, the number of active consumers, that's a big metric for them for the second quarter, missed expectations.
00:19And, as if that weren't enough, there's soon going to be a change in leadership.
00:23Klarna said that its chief financial officer, who's been with the company for six years,
00:27is going to be leaving at the end of next year.
00:30Didn't say exactly why.
00:31The company did report a profit beat for the second quarter, though, with $9 million.
00:36Revenue was up 27% from a year ago, but that just wasn't enough.
00:39Couldn't get past the fact that the company had to cut its expectations for revenue this year.
00:44Okay, let's move on to Amalix.
00:47This is the, what was that?
00:50So Amalix, I haven't heard of this one before.
00:52Oh, yeah, I know, right?
00:53It's a, you know, sometimes we do the lesser known.
00:55A pharmaceutical company, ticker symbol AMLX, it's up 29% and up 168%, by the way, in just the past
01:05year.
01:05It does have a market cap of $2.4 billion, by the way.
01:07So this company is out saying that they have an experimental drug that actually did very well in clinical trials
01:15for folks who experienced low blood sugar after bariatric surgery.
01:19And now they're going to take that to the FDA to try to get full approval.
01:23And they're saying revenue could be in the billions of dollars.
01:26It's August.
01:27My brain is fried.
01:28And she's doing like a September, third week of September stock.
01:32Moving on, moving on.
01:32Isn't that incredible?
01:34It's just, how do you do this?
01:35Well, I can't believe summer's almost over.
01:37Yes.
01:38Come on.
01:38All right.
01:39Fabrinet, another company.
01:41Fabrinet.
01:41That just doesn't roll.
01:42This one is in the Dow.
01:43Yes.
01:44So ticker symbol here is FN, down 11%.
01:49But this is a little bit of a head scratcher.
01:51It is an optical packaging company.
01:53Fourth quarter results, topping Wall Street targets.
01:55I really beat on every metric.
01:57But the stock is down 11%.
01:59This maybe is why it's up nearly 32% year to date.
02:02It's up more than 80% over the past year.
02:05So some analysts are saying it might be taking in, locking in some profits here.
02:08But also not a small company.
02:10Fabrinet market cap of $21 billion.
02:12Time for one quick one.
02:14Sure.
02:14This one we do know.
02:16Bath and Body Works.
02:18BBWI is the ticker symbol.
02:20Up 3%.
02:20Citi is raising their recommendation on Bath and Body Works to buy from neutral.
02:25They are citing a favorable risk-reward outlook.
02:28They say that energy prices and tariff refunds are actually helping the company.
02:34And this Bath and Body Works is going to be out with earnings next Wednesday.
02:39And it could need a lift because the stock is down 6% year to date.
02:42This is Bath and Body Works.
02:44Bath and Body Works.
02:45Haven't they gone through like a 10-year re-work?
02:47You are absolutely right.
02:48No, wait.
02:48I'm thinking of Bed, Bath, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
02:50Oh, yeah, yeah.
02:51It's confusing.
02:51Where you would always get the 20% off coupon.
02:53Bed, Bath, and Body.
02:55Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
02:56I can't.
02:57Yeah.
02:57Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
02:58Yeah, no, I know.
02:59I always confuse the two.
03:00They still live online.
03:02And they're looking at bringing back their stores, Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
03:05I miss mine in my neighborhood, to be honest.
03:07Okay.
03:07You know, we had the online, the retail sales shortfall the other day.
03:12Yeah.
03:12And somebody, I can't remember who, I think, it wasn't Rob Schiffman.
03:16Okay.
03:17Said that it was because Prime Day was shifted or something.
03:20Yes.
03:21Ah, that's right.
03:21Do you do Prime Day?
03:23I, yes, I do.
03:24If I, you know what, I don't go on it willy-nilly if there's a.
