00:19now says the work should be complete by the end of October, after only 13 months. Restrictions
00:26are due to start being removed from northbound and southbound carriageways in the coming weeks.
00:32The scheme includes concrete repairs and replacement of bridge joints on the A167M viaduct.
00:39The work is part of a major investment package funding restoration of the Tyne Bridge.
