00:00What are my favourite children's books? Well, I've got so many. It's very difficult to, without spending all day talking
00:09to you, to just pick out a couple.
00:12But when I was very young, which was about 100 years ago, I was a sort of pony mad child.
00:19I loved ponies, I loved horses.
00:21And there was a book called Moreland Mousy, which was written, it had a strange author who was called Golden
00:28Gorse.
00:30It was a really good adventure story of an ex-small pony who lived in a big herd with all
00:36his relations and all his friends.
00:39And then he got taken away and then he was sent to a family and lived with his family.
00:45And it was all his adventures. Some were a bit sad and some were very happy.
00:50So that was one of my favourites. And then there was another lovely book called Swallows and Amazons, which was
00:56written by a man called Arthur Ransom.
