00:00Reina de la Cancion is a groundbreaking series, you know, it's not like every other singing
00:08competition reality, there's no, none of that gossip, fighting, drama element to it.
00:16Of course there's an emotional charge to it because there's all these talented women
00:21fighting for their dream.
00:23The real focus is on talent, on music, we're trying to find the next Latina superstar.
00:31It's very important to put the spotlight on women, I feel like we're living in a very
00:35important moment in music where we have powerhouses, you know, female powerhouses that are not needing
00:42male feats or anything like that, they're carrying and impacting the world, the entire world as
00:48Latina women.
00:49We see Becky G, we see Carol G, we see Nati Natasha, we see Rosalia that have crossed over not
00:55only
00:56as Latina stars, but they're world stars.
00:59This is a craft that comes from the heart and at the end of the day, you know, once you
01:02stand on that stage, you just got to let all the preparation and everything you've learned
01:07happen.
01:08You know, you just got to let your instrument, your heart, your soul do its thing and I
01:11believe that's what charisma, connection and presence comes from, from enjoying what you
01:16do.
01:16This is not an easily to define career when it comes to success, you know, it has a lot
01:23of sides, a lot of elements, they have to have their singing on point, they got to have their
01:26presses on point because this is entertainment as well, we're not looking to just find a good
01:31singer, we're trying to find a star, so they got to have charisma, presence, confidence,
01:36and, you know, and that comes through enjoyment, when you're connected to what you do and you're
01:40prepared, you take the stage and you make it yours.
