00:00When you look at a team that has probably, I'm saying probably, the best chance to beat the Dodgers of
00:07anybody in the National League playoffs, I really believe it is the Cubs.
00:11They are very athletic. They can steal you a base. They can hit the ball out of the ballpark.
00:16Their bullpen's going to get even better once they get to full health, you hope, here in the coming days.
00:22And what happened this week psychologically is in the back of the minds of everybody, right?
00:27If they see each other in October, everyone's going to remember what just happened at Wrigley.
00:32Whereas the Brewers, who I love their team, they've got the Miz.
00:37Obviously, if they had gotten Scooble, it'd probably be a different statement I'm giving you right now.
00:41But we all remember what happened last year in the playoffs.
00:44Four straight, Dodgers win, and then caps by Otani just taking over the entire sport, basically.
00:50And again, psychologically, that is still there.
00:53Whereas the Cubs, they seem to have this bravado right now where they don't fear the Dodgers.
00:59I think the Brewers would need something big to go their way early on in that series for them to
01:05get the trust and the belief that they can really beat that team.
01:08It's certainly possible, and I love the way the Brewers play.
01:11They've got some great pros on that team, Yelich, Terang, huge fans of them, Contreras, obviously.
01:17And then they've got Miz in the rotation, who's unbelievable.
01:20But I just wonder if when they run up against the Dodgers, depending on where the series starts,
01:27there is that history last year that I think has an effect.
01:31Whereas the Cubs seem to be riding this new confidence where they don't seem to fear the Dodgers,
01:37and they have no reason to.
