00:00You hear about the jump in the year two of a system.
00:03You're seeing it, and I think it's a very, very real thing,
00:05especially with Caleb, I want to say,
00:07because on Thursday's practice, they have a two-minute drill
00:11they're going through, and they end up scoring on a two-minute drill,
00:13but the most impressive play of it for me,
00:15he's got a concept to his right where he's got first level to the flat
00:19with Colston Loveland, and he's got second level running out
00:22for Kalief Raymond.
00:23Kalief Raymond kind of runs this over route,
00:25and then he sticks his foot in the ground,
00:26comes back out towards the sideline,
00:27and what Caleb does with his eyes and his feet tied together in a way,
00:31he looks to Colston in the flat, and he either didn't like it
00:34or he was purely doing it to manipulate the safety,
00:36and he does it and waits for Kalief to come out to the outside,
00:40and he puts the ball right on him in time where he can catch the ball,
00:44get to the sideline, get out of bounds in the two-minute drill.
00:47That's beautiful.
00:48It's absolutely beautiful football.
00:49It's the perfect description of what you want from him.
00:52We know he has a special.
00:53We've seen it time and time and time again.
00:55Can he do those things?
00:56That's special football to me, right?
00:58Those miraculous things, that's cool.
01:00But to me, special football, an elite-level quarterback play,
01:04looks like what he did on that play.
01:05If he can do that consistently, he's going to be unstoppable,
01:07and so is that offense.
01:09Yeah, I look at the manipulation of defenses as that next step.
01:13Well, let me back up.
01:15In terms of what I need from him is just doing the pedestrian well.
01:19It sounds like from all accounts he has done the pedestrian well so far in camp, correct?
01:24Absolutely.
01:25And I mean, I'm not saying he's 100% because there are still some inconsistencies
01:28sometimes with accuracy and timing.
01:29You see some missing throws that should be hit.
01:32But for the most part, you can certainly see that he's taking that next step
01:35and he's putting in the work to be able to do the simple much better.
