00:02Hello, I'm Isla. I'm Aria. I'm Daisy. I'm Audrey. And we are all appearing in Anastasia the Musical. Yay!
00:12They've all been picked to play little Anastasia in the popular musical.
00:16I found out in the car with my cousin and he was screaming as well. So basically it was just
00:23a screaming car, really.
00:24I didn't think I was going to get it because there were so many good people.
00:29Three of the four are making their professional debuts.
00:33I do love it but I also get really nervous and I'm like, you can do an Aria, yes you
00:37can do it, yeah.
00:38They might be young but they've been working toward this moment for years.
00:42We work so hard, we do so many lessons a week and it's still so fun but there's a lot
00:47of dedication.
00:48Amazingly, all have studied at the Barbara Jane Dance Centre under 50 year veteran Barbara Komasek.
00:55Far away, long ago.
01:01She says they all have the acting, singing and dance skills.
01:07But they'll need much more to chase a professional stage dream.
01:11They've got to have some talent, they've got to have resilience because they get the knocks all the time and
01:18they've got to be able to get knocked back and then get back up and try again.
01:23For now though, they get to sing with a pro.
01:26I'm singing with a lady called Nancy, I'm pretty sure.
01:30That's Australian icon, Nancy Hayes.
