00:19High School, we both played football and LaFrosse there, and then I think we've graduated, we keep in contact, get
00:26the feel together, we plan some leagues together, and we really just grind together and make each other.
00:29They're better and just come better than first players and individuals as a whole.
00:34Big expectations this year at Hampton. Talk a little bit about the drought that they're experiencing and what you want
00:39to do about it.
00:40Yeah, so I have plans, you know, me and along with some other guys, I know we got some new
00:45recruits to come in, but I'm really on this mission of shocking the world.
00:49I live by shock the world, and we're going on a mission of winning a Division I game in 13
00:54years, and that's never been done before.
00:56And so being a walk-on last year, it was a great experience, and I really do thank my coaches
01:01for giving me the opportunity to play on the highest level and be on the highest level, because I do
01:05dream of these heavy moments.
01:07But now it's time to kick it up a notch and get better, because we haven't won a game in
01:1313 years, so whatever I'm doing is clearly not working.
01:16And, you know, you're looking to really kind of take a leadership position on the team this year. Could you
01:20talk about that?
01:21Yeah, so hopefully, you know, it's in the works, I'm still talking to coaches, but hopefully I could take on
01:27a captain position, you know, after earning a scholarship this year again.
01:30I am grateful, I am blessed, but even if I'm not named a captain, I'm still going to just get
01:37up, I'm still going to surround myself with the right group of guys and bring guys up every building, wherever
01:43I go.
01:47What sports did your grandpa want you to play in college?
01:50So in college, granddad, even to this moment, I still got one year left, granddad would let me play football.
01:56He's not mad that I played lacrosse, never mad. He's definitely grateful that I played lacrosse, I'm just happy I'm
02:02following my own legacy, but I know he played football at one point, he would have just liked me.
