00:00I threw out an idea, actually, to some of my friends, which was we need to throw a reverse
00:05bachelor party for Kyle. Like a back on the market party.
00:14Virtual reality.
00:16Carla Radke, you know Danny and I are obsessed with you. It's always good to chat with you.
00:20And this time we're chatting because you have a really fun partnership happening right now with
00:25Coffee Mate. I love the idea of this whole, it's a situation sip moment. What's going on?
00:32Yeah, so it's, I'm in a relationship with a situation sip from Coffee Mate.
00:39I love this. And it is such a fun phrase and term. And I feel like, you know, a situation
00:45sips
00:45is a much better thing to wake up with than a situation ship.
00:50Exactly. Less drama.
00:52Now, I mean, are you hopeful? Because we've seen you kind of get back into your flirting
00:57mode a little bit. Are we hoping to have some situation sips with situation sips this year?
01:02You know what I mean? Could this be indicating something?
01:06No, I'm focused on my situation ship with situation sip. That's where my head's at right now.
01:12Oh my God. I mean, obviously the exciting news today, Carl, Summer House was nominated for
01:18an Emmy. What is your reaction? This is incredible. You should be so proud.
01:23I mean, it's amazing. It's a testament to the fans and, you know, Bravo and the audience and
01:28everybody that ever has worked on Summer House. There's a lot of people behind the scenes, you
01:33know, from the editors to the producers to the production assistants. This is for them,
01:38honestly. Like we, you know, we're the lucky ones. We're very lucky to do a lot of stuff that we
01:43get
01:43to do. But the people behind the scenes, I really feel like this is an award that or a nomination
01:47for them. So it's, it's pretty amazing. It's kind of really processed it all. But yeah, it's really,
01:53really, really incredible that we were recognized after 10 seasons, which is kind of cool.
01:58I know it is so exciting. And I mean, talk about a season to warrant this recognition,
02:03because I mean, you all had to work overtime processing so much stuff that I know on the back
02:08end, the producers and editors had to really go above and beyond to give all the fans what they
02:13wanted and what they needed and to get as much clarity as everybody was able to get from it.
02:19And now, I mean, because I know there was a lot of LOLing from Kyle saying, Carl's a mess. How
02:24are
02:24we doing now? How are we feeling about, like, how is Carl in July? Are we feeling a little bit
02:28better?
02:31Yes. I mean, I don't know what to say to when people ask me, are you a mess or are
02:36you not? I just say,
02:37yes, I'm a mess. I just go along with it. Yeah, I mean, I'm in the grand scheme of things.
02:43I'm,
02:43you know, I'll be five and a half years sober. Like, I'm good. I mean, I was emotional and
02:51processing a lot of all that stuff when that whole thing went down. But, you know, the meme and the
02:59whole thing is just it's been one of the most insane things of all time. But I just embrace it
03:05and
03:05just laugh at it. So, yeah, I'm always a mess. How are you feeling about the next season of
03:12Summer House without Wes and Amanda? How did you process that news?
03:16You know, I think, listen, every summer we've had not the exact same cast of characters. And I've
03:23been in a lot of Summer Houses before we ever started doing the show Summer House, where
03:28some people don't return because they take a new job or they are focusing on something else in their
03:33life. And honestly, I think it's it'll be a new chapter that we need to have. Obviously,
03:39it'll be different. But this is what happens in Summer Houses. People move on. People have other
03:45careers or other relationship changes. So it's actually, I think, exactly the way Summer Houses go.
03:52So, you know, I love that. And also, it seems like there also is a way for with this more
03:58open
03:58spaces that Summer House kind of becomes just Kyle's bachelor season because it is single Kyle
04:03summer and he is wasting no time. I mean, we caught up with him. I chatted with Ava Dash,
04:09who we've been seeing him out and about with. She said you were so lovely. And also we've been
04:13seeing Kyle spot it with Sally. What are we excited? Are we emotionally ready for a single Kyle
04:19summer? Yes, we are. We I think we've been waiting for this ever since the the whole separation
04:26occurred. And then even more so, you know, given everything that's gone on, I threw out an idea
04:33actually to some of my friends, which was we need to throw a reverse bachelor party for Kyle.
04:40Like like a back back on the market party. Oh, my God, that would be amazing. He is back on
04:46the market.
04:46But as Danny mentioned, Sally, Ava, when it comes to those two girls, do you think one of them could
04:51actually be a match for Kyle? I mean, I feel like. Listen, Kyle's having a lot of fun. I feel
05:00like
05:00the first person that you get with after your separation is usually fun and light. And it seems
05:05like he's just having a good time. But I've seen him more with Sally than I've seen Ava. But they're
05:12both
05:12wonderful people. I love them both. I think they're both very beautiful. So yeah, I mean, I think Kyle
05:19should have fun, have a crazy wild single summer. But maybe after the summer when it ends, maybe he'll
05:25be ready for, you know, maybe a dating relationship. But I don't know when you get out of a 10
05:30year
05:30relationship. Like, I think it takes some time to kind of get back to ready for maybe that level of
05:36another committed relationship. So for Kyle, I'm like, dude, have fun. Let loose. You know,
05:42see what's out there. Yeah, I know. I feel there also, I'm assuming has to be a moment of
05:47re-getting to know yourself. Because like, when you know yourself in a relationship and for an
05:52extended period of time, when that relationship ends and you're no longer in it, I feel you have
05:57to start re-asking yourself questions like, who am I outside of this? What do I want? What do I
06:01value?
06:02And what can I bring to this next phase of my life?
06:07Yeah, I mean, it takes time to unwind and kind of heal. And I mean, listen, like we, I don't
06:14want
06:14to speak for Kyle, but like their breakup just is still ongoing on TV right now. You know, so
06:22I can't imagine what that's, I mean, I know what it's like a little bit from previous experiences.
06:26But currently with the advent of all of this excitement about Summer House and Kyle and Sierra
06:32and everything, like he still is processing, I think, some of the relationship fallout because
06:39it's still playing out on TV right now. You know, even when Lindsay and I broke up, that happened in
06:44August of 2023. But you guys all saw it in May of 2025, or sorry, 2024. And everybody was, you
06:53know,
06:53watching it and we were reliving that moment again, seven, eight months later. So I always
06:59advise take more time than you really, really think. Because there's a delay in what we experience
07:04in real time. And then what you guys watch later on, which also creates, you know, more emotions
07:09and feelings. So I don't know, maybe Kyle needs, you know, another six months before really things can
07:16kind of fully move on. Because I mean, I don't know how much more of the in the city is
07:20left,
07:21or what's going on with that. But maybe there's more there. I think there's a few more episodes
07:26left of that. But I'm not sure they are. The drama going on between Kyle and Amanda on that it
07:32is,
07:33it is intense. I was like, I thought it was bad on Summer House. I'm like, they're fighting. And
07:37I don't know, this group around them just keeps on like, setting up the stage for them to fight
07:42more and more. I was like, this is like, it's uncomfortable of how much they don't seem to get
07:47along anymore.
07:48Yeah, so I'm sorry to smile. But I'm just like, it's just like, it's sad. It's just sad to see
07:54your friends, you know, at odds and not in a great place. Obviously, you know, I heard a lot about
07:59what
07:59went on in the fall within the city. And, you know, obviously, very close to Kyle, very close,
08:05very, very close with Andre. Like, I heard everything that you're now watching. But it's
08:10interesting watching it play out now knowing all the other information, right? I mean, Kyle,
08:15he's having his sexy single summer ahead of him. Amanda has, you know, dealt with their breakup in
08:21a much different way. But do you think that she could also benefit from a sexy single summer
08:26herself? Like, it seems like she's very committed to this West situation, which is confusing to
08:32people? Yeah, I don't know. I think she, I wish her all the best and whatever works best for her.
08:40But, you know, I, I think, I think you guys know how I feel about that relationship dynamic. It,
08:47it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. But I'm not in a relationship with either of them. And
08:52I,
08:52you know, whatever works best for them, they're, you know, they're allowed to do whatever they want.
08:58But at the same time, that there is consequences of choices and, and behaviors. So we'll see what
09:05ultimately for Amanda, I mean, my advice would be take some time, you know, get your, you know,
09:10get yourself in order, take some time for yourself, and not in a relationship. And, you know, spend time
09:17with your family, get back to like, reconnecting with your close, real friends, and just getting
09:22back to like, who the real Amanda Batula is. Oh, I know. And the best advice, maybe have a
09:28situation sip this summer, and leave the ships at home, get onto the port, you know what I mean?
09:34Carl, thank you so much for taking time to chat with us. Yes. You know, we love you,
09:37and we'll see you at Softbar very soon, I hope. No, I love you guys. Thank you for the support.
09:41Always appreciate you both. Hopefully we'll see you even before, maybe we'll see you at the Hamptons
09:45at some point. Oh, done and done. Let us pray. Thank you so much, Carl. Bye, Carl. Thanks, guys.
