00:03Europeans have to maintain their ties with the United States even though the
00:07relationship has become more fragile and unpredictable but it has to be a win-win
00:11situation Xavier Betel deputy prime minister of Luxembourg told your news at
00:16the NATO summit in Ankara. You know I learned when I was in kindergarten and
00:21if someone was bullying me sometimes not to answer it was the best answer. Betel
00:27said he's ready to support the protection of Hormuz but not a war against Iran as
00:32the US and Iran once again exchange strikes. Hormuz is more efficient than any
00:37nuclear weapon they don't target even one country they hurt all of us. Betel told
00:43US Secretary of State Marco Rubio he believed the Iran war did not pass the
00:48test of international law and that there was no imminent threat to the United
00:52States. I'm hearing since 25 years that the nuclear weapon is ready
00:57in Iran in three months. I hear that from Israeli side since ever. In order to
01:02respect international law he said Israel and the US should have asked for a
01:06mandate before striking Iran. He added you cannot just use international law when
01:10it sounds good in your own ears.
