Watch as a determined cat puts up a fierce fight against bath time before finally accepting its soggy fate.

The hilarious moment was captured by Shen Xing in Jieyang, Guangdong Province, China.

The video shows the black-and-white cat making an early escape attempt as its owner prepares for bath time. The runaway is quickly caught and carried back before the washing begins.

As water and shampoo are applied, the reluctant feline stiffens in protest, clearly unimpressed with the entire experience. After a lengthy soak, the exhausted cat is transferred into a pet dryer to finish the grooming session.
