Newcastle’s Eldon Square bus station is set to reopen after being closed for resurfacing and upgrade work.
Transport chiefs say passengers should benefit from smoother journeys despite delays caused by weather conditions.

00:33Buses have been using temporary stops across the city centre.
00:37Further work will begin to upgrade traffic lights and pedestrian crossings on Gallo Gate
00:42and on Percy Street.
