00:02HIMS & HERS CEO Andrew Dudum defended the telehealth company Tuesday amid a Federal
00:08Trade Commission lawsuit over its data-sharing practices, according to CNBC. The FTC, Los
00:14Angeles County, and Utah sued HIMS & HERS in July, accusing the company of sharing health
00:19information with advertisers, charging customers before they spoke with healthcare providers,
00:24and making subscriptions difficult to cancel. Dudum said the company is focused on expanding
00:31access to care and argued regulators wanted a headline rather than an agreement.
00:36He also discussed HIMS & HERS' shift from compounded to branded GLP-1 drugs and predicted
00:41prices for cash-paying patients could eventually fall to $40 to $50 per month. Dudum said the
00:48company is also increasing investments as it moves toward becoming AI native.
