The United States Air Force also released a video showing the behind-the-scenes work carried out before the demonstration. The footage was recorded on July 10 and shows members of the maintenance team preparing the F-22 to take part in the event.
Before each demonstration, technicians conduct inspections and checks on the aircraft’s systems to ensure the fighter is in proper condition to safely perform the planned sequence of maneuvers.
Originally developed for air superiority missions, the F-22 combines low-observable characteristics, integrated sensors, high speed and exceptional maneuverability. At airshows, however, it is mainly the aircraft’s power and aerodynamic capabilities that are visible to the public.
