00:00I'm a Minecraft PvP YouTuber, but I haven't played the game in months. So, how cooked am I?
00:05Well, in today's video, I will be playing something many of you have been asking for,
00:09Crystal PvP, which is known by many as the hardest game mode, and something you should
00:13practice a lot if you want to be good. So, will I be able to win at least one game
00:17today? Let's
00:18find out. Alright, so here we go. This is pretty much the first game of PvP I've played in like,
00:23a couple months. It's almost been a year, but we're basically gonna see today if we
00:28even have the muscle memory to do a hit crystal. Oh, let me arrange my hotbar first, because I have
00:33a weird hotbar. I literally, I've only played a couple games in the past year, so let's see if
00:38I can even hit crystal anymore. We are playing on PvP Legacy, the server, so people probably won't
00:44be the best here, but oh god. Okay, maybe I just jinxed it. I'm just gonna try to survive. Hold
00:49on. I'm literally still talking for the intro. Chill. One second. Let's gap up for a sec. Let's
00:54heal. Don't want to get too low. He is using the respawn anchors, something that I cannot do anymore
00:59that well. He's staying in the holes. I don't know if I want to go in there right now. I'm
01:03also slow
01:03fall now, so it's really bad. I don't even know if he's gonna let me hit crystal, because he's just
01:07anchoring a lot. So, we might have to just play in this hole, see what happens. Can I survive?
01:13Do I know how to totem anymore? I don't know. Okay, I actually don't want to be in there. So,
01:19this is
01:19what it looks like when you haven't played PvP in a couple months, but hopefully we can pick up the
01:24muscle memory fast, get some good game sense again. Honestly, maybe I should slow fall him,
01:31because that might make it easier right now. Okay, there we go. One pop. Okay, we can actually
01:38anchor still, as we saw there. I'm pretty inconsistent with it, I've noticed, but let me try to anchor
01:43more. Maybe I'll get better. Oh my- Okay, so what was I talking about? We might still have it,
01:50guys. That was not bad. I think what I just did there was called a crystal spike or anchor spike,
01:55which is a new technique I just watched in a video recently by this guy. So, shout out to you.
02:00Game one. Okay, this guy sent me a duel, so we'll do this for our second game. He has a
02:04totem skin,
02:05guys. So, we'll see if he's good at the game. The good thing is, we know from the first game,
02:10I can actually hit crystal still. So, it's not like I'm 100% cooked, but we'll see about this
02:15one. Bro's holding a totem with the totem skin. That's pretty funny. All right, derpy decks. Let's
02:201v1. Oh, okay. I thought he was going to like, pearl over for a screenshot for some reason.
02:27No, bro's ready to go, and he's in the hole. Guys, something I've noticed a lot about this year
02:33or the past year of crystal is that people are anchoring a lot and like staying in these holes a
02:38lot more than ever before, which personally, I mean, I don't know if I like it. I'm just not used
02:43to it yet. So, it's going to make me look bad once he starts... Oh, not killing me? Nevermind.
02:51Okay. The game is treating me lightly because it knows I haven't played in months. So, it's giving
02:56me pretty straightforward games so far. We can see though, this guy is a high tier 4. If you guys
03:01don't know what that means in crystal PvP, the lower number. So, like if this guy was a tier 1,
03:06that means you're better. I'm sure I don't have to explain that to most people, but if you are new
03:10to PvP, you can see how good people are with that. And if you're curious what my tier was,
03:16it's not relevant anymore because the last time I did it was literally three years ago. Three or
03:20four years ago is the last time I was actually playing crystal, like competitively. So, I think
03:25for this summer, I want to start a series like training crystal to try to get better. See what tier
03:31I can get? Yeah, I'm fine with like fighting people who might be new to crystal right now
03:37just because I haven't played in a bit. So, I'm not trying to try hard at the moment,
03:41but also so I can talk to you guys. Bro's in the hole. I guess we're going to go in
03:45the hole, guys.

03:55Yeah, you guys are going to see probably the worst crystal gameplay I've ever done on this

04:27then I might switch servers and go to a more competitive one because then I'll definitely
04:32get cooked. If you guys think this looks easy, it gets a lot harder if you go to like an

04:37crystal server because right now we're just on PvP Legacy where there's a lot of new players.

04:49what happens when you don't play PvP for like almost a year. Honestly, it's not that bad,
04:54at least on a server like this. But I've also played Crystal for a couple years, so I have that
04:58muscle memory ingrained. I know what to do kind of. So, I think the next step maybe in a few

05:04will go to the other server because I kind of want a challenge. But here we go. I think this

05:09the fifth game. We're fighting the same guy, I believe. So, let's see if we can beat him again.

06:13Something I've noticed, like, because I'm so out of practice is my reaction time to everything,
06:17like anchors, hurling is pretty slow. So, that's something that will have to get better over time,
06:23just practicing this a lot. But let's see what we can do here in the hole. I'm slow falled right
06:27now, so it's pretty bad for holes because then you are in the air more. And that is how you
06:34take
06:34damage from crystals. If you guys are really new to crystal, you take more damage when you're at the
06:38same level as it or above. As you can see there, I just popped. Oh, we won. Honestly, that was
06:44pretty

11:04the best aim, but we're also not doing too bad right now. The thing about OP this game mode is
11:10the timing and just knowing how far you can hit them from. It's very different from crystal,
11:16obviously. So, I don't know. I'd say it's easier than crystal, right? But it is important to have
11:22good timings, good spacing. You also have to aim, which I can't really do right now, but I think we're
11:27winning a few hits right now. Winning by a few hits. Okay. The thing about this game mode as well
11:34is you want to heal when you're missing two hunger, like right now. If you let it drop lower than
11:39that,
11:39it messes up your saturation, which is what lets you heal a lot. Okay. I think we're both on three
11:45gaps now. I think he's on two now. Here we go. Oh my gosh. We're cooking. We're cooking. Yup.
11:54Little combo. We're going to heal again because of the saturation. Okay. Not bad. I think he's on
12:01two gaps right now. Once he gaps the next time, we're just going to crit him like this.
12:06And now I'm up one gap, I believe. There is one more round in OP, so we'll have to beat
12:11him again.
12:12But right now, it's looking like a win. Let's heal. I do not want to mess up that healing.

12:23last one, to be honest. Boom. Okay, guys. I should tier test in every game mode, to be honest.

12:44good at every game mode, I'd be down for that. I just don't know which ones you guys want to

12:49Probably crystal first, but I can do game modes like OP. I just don't really practice these ones
12:55as much, so it might be bad. But I also suck at crystal right now, so I've got to learn
13:00them all.
13:01Okay. Rolls getting cooked. Oh my goodness. Yeah. I really haven't played PvP in like a few years,
13:10so. Or competitively at least. So it'd be fun to get into it like super tryharding again.
13:16Because over the past few years, like I've played, but my videos have mostly just been story-based,
13:22not like competitive videos. Some of you might remember the one video I did, the combos video,
13:27where I did a bunch of 360 hits in a row in this game mode, and that took way too
13:32long. So I do not
13:35want to be doing that again. But maybe I'll do another challenge video like that for a crystal.

13:43blast product totems, leave it in the comments, because I'm always looking for video ideas.

15:37was a higher tier than him, but let's see if this guy's gonna be better. Oh god.

15:47aggressive, way more than the other server, which is to be expected. So we're not gonna have to be a

16:36little different. And you can see he's doing the pearl flash technique a lot, because when you do that,
16:41you can't take knockback. So it's good for not getting hit up in the air like that. We are having
16:48success. What? Success, though, with a bunch of anchor spam. Should we get on the hole now?

18:55posting this. They probably won't believe that still, because I haven't posted in seven months,
18:59but this guy is really good with his anchor placements. He did pop himself a lot last game,
19:04but he's definitely better than me right now at anchors, so. Oh god. Is he, like, really fast
19:10with it? There's this technique you can do where you, like, shift on your anchor, and then it blocks
19:16it with glowstone. Oops. I did not have a totem. Whoops. You fill it up with a glowstone,
19:20and then you shift, so it blocks it, and then you activate it. So for this type of fighting,
19:25where it's all whole PvP, you just need to have your inventory open, basically, all the time
19:29for another totem. Otherwise, you die. You can see I'm always, like, dual-handing two totems.
19:36Otherwise, that happens. You have a split second to react and offhand another totem, or you just are
19:41dead. I'm definitely, yeah, definitely getting some muscle memory back now. All right, we're fighting
19:46him once more. I like this. He's pretty good, so it's a good challenge, and I can practice this
19:51whole fight. We are popping them a bit, so it's not too unfair. Yeah, right now, I think we have
19:56the lead slightly. Oh god. That was close. Uh-oh. Yeah, this is scary, guys. Totem. He popped himself.
20:07There's so many totem pops right now. Oh god. Okay, we got him. There's an anchor pop. Uh-oh.
20:13Oh, sandstone, my totem slot. Okay, we're throwing right now. Boom. Yeah, I think, you know, tier 4 is a
20:21good range for me to fight right now. Not too hard. There goes my helmet again, and I am dead.
20:27Once
20:27your helmet breaks, you're just kind of cooked. It's really hard to survive after that. So this is an
20:32area called the box, where it's different because there's no, uh, anchor damage. You can't anchor and
20:37make a hole, which is kind of nice. So it lets you practice your hit crystal more. So I'm going
20:42to do this
20:42for- oh. Let's go see. Let's do this for a second. Let's try that again.
20:48You'll notice that people will pearl flash a lot in this, where you, uh, just pearl to hit the ground.
20:53They don't get knocked up. You can anchor in this mode as well. It's just not how you would
20:58naturally anchor because there's no holes. But let's get another totem on. That was close.
21:03Oh god, what am I doing? We're throwing. But you can do that still. Oops.
21:09Oops. Oh. What just happened? I think he just, uh, broke his helmet, so he wanted to
21:15die. I shouldn't die right now and re-kit? Oh my gosh. That was, like, four pops in a row,
21:19though.
21:22There we go. I'm having a hard time, like, blocking myself from the, uh, anchor damage. I think we're
21:27going to die here, though. Just because I'm out of, like, items. Let's do another one of these.
21:32And then, uh, I think we'll switch back to 1v1s in the desert. Because this gets- this gets boring
21:38fast. There's no hole fights. It's all about just- there's still taps. Double taps, whatever you call
21:45it. Okay. Here we go. Maybe I'll just do a whole video, like, playing box. Although I think that'd
21:54be pretty boring to watch, to be honest. Okay. Oh my gosh. Oh, that was a good one. I think
