00:00The mace is Minecraft's most powerful melee item, and despite being out for almost a year now,
00:04I have never used it. Not even once. And since a lot of you commented for me to learn it,
00:09that's exactly what we're doing today. Starting with a blind game, knowing nothing about the
00:13game mode, then watching a quick guide, and at the end of the video, you guys will see how much
00:17I've improved. Alright, so this is literally the first game of mace I've ever played. I don't even
00:22know what to do with this kit, so we're just gonna see what happens. I don't even know what the
00:26enchants for the mace do, what does breach mean, density. I'm gonna learn this stuff in a few
00:30games here so I can actually stand a chance, but let's see if I can even do anything. I know
00:34these
00:34wind charges you can use to jump up like that, and then when you land, you use the thing, I
00:39guess.
00:40This guy kind of knows what he's doing, it seems like. Oh god. See, like, that did all my health.
00:44Oh my god, we're gonna pull away. I don't know which mace I should be using, like, what the enchants
00:48do.
00:49This is going interesting so far. What the? How'd he just do all my health? This game is just a

00:53impression look. Seems like- Oh wow, he's at half health from that. Not bad. Oh my gosh, he's at
01:00eight hearts now, so I guess you can use- Oh my god, I just popped a totem from that.

01:12go? What the? He was behind me? Okay guys, well that was the first look, first ever time playing the
01:19game mode. Now I'm gonna look at a YouTube video and, uh, try to learn some combos. Alright, we're
01:23gonna be using this guy's tutorial, so shout out to enchanter sky. The game will combine the damage
01:27of the leather sword with enchantment of the mace, which reduces 60% of the armor production,
01:30making a deal of three and a half hearts per hit instead of the normal- Oh, okay. So basically
01:35he's
01:35saying I crit with my sword and then right when I land, or before I land, I switch to the
01:39mace,
01:40like that. Rip the bunny. Okay, so for the enchants, breach basically reduces their armor.
01:45Density just does more damage the farther you fall. And this guy says you should use breach
01:49when you're falling from below seven blocks, and density when it's more than seven blocks.
01:53Okay, so the normal wind charge jump without anything else is about this high. Apparently
01:58you can jump higher if you combine the elytra and the wind charge and jump at the same time,
02:03so let's try that right now. Oh my god. Oh, that was way higher. Okay. And then if I want
02:08to combine
02:08the elytra with it, I just jump and use this, and then I do this right after, I guess. Like
02:14that.
02:14Oh. Okay, I'm not gonna try this one in the fight. It's really inconsistent for me, so I'm not
02:20gonna attempt doing that. Okay, I think I've learned enough from this guide, so let's try to put our
02:25skills to the test now and see if we can actually beat someone now. So I think the strategy is
02:31just
02:31bounce up. Oh, I need my elytra. Bounce up, elytra, and then try to do the thing. And if they
02:38try to
02:39shield, I can also break it with the axe right before I mace, which is gonna be a little hard,
02:44but at least I know how to do it now. Oh, okay. Yeah, but at least I know what the
02:49enchantments do
02:50now, so I know the difference between density and breach. And this is kind of hard. Now let's get
02:56our sword ready, and then... Switch to the mace? I missed. I missed him. Okay, let's try it again.
03:05Get our sword out, and then switch to the mace last second. Like that. What the? I swear bro just
03:11lagged.
03:11What the heck was that? I just want to like use my sword to crit him out, because that's what

03:15how to do right now. And it also seems like this guy's new to the game mode too at least,

03:19like I'm getting rolled. Here we go. Switch to the last second, and that did one heart.

03:29Oh my god, I hit him there. That did like all his health. It's because I switched to the mace
03:34right after my sword. Let's get our potions again. I'm gonna assume the strength gives you more damage
03:40when you hit. Oh, we did three hearts with that. Okay. Okay, I'm definitely picking it up quick
03:46though, learning what to do kind of. Oh my gosh. Go to sword, and then switch to mace right before

03:51land, and that did three hearts. What did I do wrong? Okay, that did decent damage. That did a
03:59lot of damage actually. Let's just crit him out while he's on the ground, and while his strength is up.
04:04Never mind. More strength. Okay, here we go. There we go. I did like two hearts. What the heck?
04:11Let's just kill him like this. Ooh, that did like 10 hearts. Oh, he's trying to run away.
04:17Oh yeah. Okay, one more, one more. He's trying to pour away. Bro's not low at all. He's like
04:24half HP. Now he's full HP. Okay, this is the longest PvP fight ever. Ooh, I did two in a
04:29row right
04:29there. He's almost dead. He's on three hearts. Come here. Oh, that was the closest I've gotten to
04:36killing him. So if he's too far away, or I feel like I need that higher ground, I guess, I'll
04:40just
04:41pearl onto his hitbox. I think that's how it works. Something like that. Okay, do that,
04:47and then switch to mace, and he has a shield up now. Oh, I popped his totem from that. Oh
04:54my gosh.
04:54That did so much damage that time. Oh, oh, I did it. Okay, okay. I'm starting to get the combo.
05:02I just jumped up, combined the wind charge and jump, and then I switched to my sword,
05:06and last second before I hit, I switched to mace, and I just one-shot him. All right, we're going
05:10into
05:10the next game mode. Let me organize my inventory again, because I forgot. But yeah, it seems like,
05:15so for most times when I'm elytra diving, I should use the density one, because that's higher than seven
05:20blocks. But if I'm just doing the jump like this, then I should use this one, the breach, because I
05:27guess it's more effective if you're not reaching the max density value, aka below seven blocks high.
05:32We're getting better. Oh, there we go. Oh my gosh, there we go. We did two hits in a row,
05:37and he just popped from that. Come here. Oh, he's not expecting this. Yo, I popped this totem again.

06:23here. Or not. This game mode, like, looks goofy if you don't play it from an outside POV, because
06:29you're just jumping a bunch. There we go. That did no damage, though, for some reason. I'm just still
06:36confused how the damage works in this, because sometimes I don't do any damage, and then other
06:40times, they just get one shot, you know? Switch to sword, and then switch to mace. That did, like,

09:43title, so you guys should know. We're learning the mace. Like, I'm trying to learn how to do this
09:46elytra boost thing still, because it's kind of hard, not gonna lie. There we go. Okay, let's kill this guy.

13:33having a lot of fun in this game mode. I haven't had this much fun learning a new PvP mode
