00:01Oh wow, that's not too bad.
00:34So I was predicted 4A stars, fortunately I got 4A stars, so yeah, quite good.
00:43I looked on my way here and I got into my firm place Southampton to do aerospace engineering.
00:51I think everybody has worked so hard and I think it's very important that all of us
00:58and take a moment to celebrate all of our achievements.
01:03I got an A star in 2A, so I'm pretty happy. I reached the grades I needed, so I'm super
01:08happy.
01:08I checked my UCAS first, it was a bit shaky, but I got my offer for Oxford for law, so
01:13I'm just relieved.
01:14It's such a relief, I mean I have so many amazing friends here and I'm just so hopeful for everyone
01:19and I feel like we all worked so hard and I'm just so glad that it's paid off.
01:23So my family is so close and like my mum has been with me the whole journey.
01:28She feels like she did the exams too and I'm just so glad that it went well for me and
01:32also for my family
01:33so that they can kind of share in that happiness I guess.
01:36I was expecting to get the grades for my university, so just like on the dot, AAB,
01:42but I got A star, A star, A in business, psychology and English language.
01:47Yeah, I saw UCAS before I came. I got into King's College to do international management, so hopefully, yeah, that's
01:54where I'm going.
01:54So I know the work I put in, so I guess I was expecting it, but I always have this
01:59sort of like mindset
02:00that I haven't done well and then here I am.
02:02It's just really bittersweet, like I don't know that I'll be standing here with these grades,
02:07so just really proud, really happy, so I'm thankful for the work I put in.
02:11All the late nights, yeah, happy.
02:13I was expecting what I got to be honest. I think I worked hard and paid off.
02:20Yeah, so we got the 3A stars, very grateful.
02:25Would like to thank my mum, dad, brother, sisters and mainly my grandparents, my late grandparents
02:31who were a big part of getting me here, a big part of my future as well and I hope
02:39they're proud.
02:39Yeah, it feels amazing. I think everyone's worked really hard and I hope everyone got what they deserve.
02:48I hope everyone's hard work paid off and yeah, let's get the party started.
02:53I thought maybe I'd be on the cusp of my offer or just a bit below, something like that, but
02:58yeah, that's sort of a few.
03:003A stars, so very pleased.
03:05University, so hopefully I'll be going to LSE this winter, so I'm looking forward to that.
03:11My mum came with me, I was very lucky to have support from my mum and my grandparents and everyone,
03:15so they all helped contribute towards that, so it's not just my result.
03:19I think it's quite lovely because everyone's in the same sort of boat, they've all put their hard work together
03:24to try and get these results and now we can actually finally enjoy them and not worry about them.
03:28So I was feeling confident because, you know, I put the work in, but obviously there's always that existential feeling
03:33of nerves
03:34which you can't really handle, but yeah, I was feeling good and my family was supporting me.
03:38I got 3A stars and an A.
03:40Yeah, so I'm going to be doing dentistry at Queen Mary's University.
03:43I haven't told anyone what results I've gotten yet, I've just found out now, but I will be telling them
03:48just after this
03:48and my family know that I've gotten into uni, so they're happy as well.
03:52Yeah, I think it feels like a really big milestone and it's obviously a new chapter of life starting
03:55and I think it's really something to be proud of for me and yeah, going forward I hope to have
04:00successes just like this in the future.
04:03My predictors with 3A stars, I wasn't like, I wasn't stressing that much until like two days ago
04:09when it hit me, the results days coming and then I got a call saying, you know, I'm going to
04:13be on the interview
04:14and that eased the stress a little bit, so yeah, I got 3A stars today.
04:20Yeah, I checked UCAS this morning and I got confirmed at my first choice
04:24which was also like pretty good before coming here, you know, so yeah.
04:29They know I'm going to uni and stuff but I've got to tell them this, I think that's the main
04:33thing that I've got to tell them
04:34and yeah, I'm excited to tell everyone, I'm excited to tell everyone.
04:39I've been on it since year 7, I've been on it since year 7 and especially like this year since
04:47January,
04:48I wasn't going out, I wasn't training, like I put everything to the side and I just, it was really
04:53difficult
04:54but it paid off in the end, that's why I'm really happy.
04:58For coming and if you are like about the epidemic.
04:58Thatonia is so positive for you.
04:58Uh far.
