02:56In a press conference on Tuesday, August 4, DOJ spokesperson, Attorney Paulo Martinez said the National Prosecution Service has received
03:08criminal complaints filed by the National Bureau of Investigation Cebu District Office against the 20 individuals on July 29.
03:17He said the alleged anomalous project was implemented in Barangay Sinsing in the municipality of Palamban.
03:23Among the criminal complaints filed by the NBI against these individuals for technical malversation, malversation of public funds, for the
03:34violation of Republic Act 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, perjury, falsification of public documents, and violation
03:45of the Government Procurement Reform Act.
03:47Martinez, however, emphasized that these are complaints for purposes of preliminary investigation as of this stage, noting that no conclusion
03:59of finding has been made yet.
