00:00What's up, y'all? It's Cole Wetzel, and keep listening to your favorite Odyssey country station to hear my new
00:04song with Ella Langley, Jaded.
00:06I hope the fans, you know, they take away, you know, just kind of the, you know, the broad spectrum
00:12of where I can go and me and Ella can go whenever we're in a room writing music and creating
00:18music, I feel, for the longest time.
00:20You know, I was making rock music and then, you know, kind of mixed it in with country music as
00:24well, and now this 80s sounding, I don't know what you call jaded, but, you know, just this new sound
00:33that probably my fans aren't used to for me, and so it's just kind of a different song that you'd
00:41probably be expecting from me, and so, yeah, I just hope they can appreciate it.
00:45I hit Ella up, I was going to Nashville, and I hit her up about a week before, I asked
00:49her if she wanted to get in the room and write a song, and we got in and meet her
00:54and Ernest and Jordan Schmidt, we all, you know, just kind of just throwing ideas at each other for the
01:00first few minutes, and Ella and Ernest kept going back and forth on this song, but I'm pretty sure they
01:06had started about a year prior to that, and it ended up being jaded, and they were kind of humming
01:11along to it, and I was like, yeah, we absolutely have to write that, and, man, we knocked it out.
01:15Pretty quick, it came very organic, I feel like, and, yeah, just, it turned out to be a really cool
01:23song for us, and so, yeah, really excited to get in the room with those guys and gal, and make
01:29what is now jaded.
