00:00Yeah. And, you know, trade deadline, apparently who needs, you know,
00:05Mize and who needs school ball because the Tigers keep winning games.
00:09You want to talk about a team that is crushing the ball right now.
00:12The Tigers are crushing the ball right now.
00:15And Seattle, shocker, they got shut out last night.
00:19And now, I mean, ugly.
00:23And now, of course, we've got, you know, young arm and Drew Anderson out there.
00:28It's going to be a bullpen game.
00:30But Brian Wu is another one of these guys that has stupid home road splits.
00:35On the road, Brian Wu is getting lit up.
00:38At home, he's fantastic here.
00:40But which version do we get?
00:43And does it matter when you're looking at a team that over the last two weeks is hitting over 400?
00:48I mean, Detroit is really swinging it well right now.
00:52Yeah, I think the Tigers, you know, underachieved offensively, Joe, all season long.
00:57So maybe this shouldn't come as a surprise.
01:00It's just they, you know, outside of Riley Green, you know, there weren't a lot of guys that you could
01:05count on for the majority of the season.
01:07But I definitely think you're on to something here.
01:10And Detroit's going to play good baseball.
01:11But it seems to me that this is probably a fleeting run for them.
01:17I don't see them going very far, of course, you know, sort of sending the message.
01:20But, look, if their offense gets clicking, Joe, that's, look, people forget this time last year, there were people picking,
01:29it sounds crazy, people picking Detroit to win the World Series.
01:32This time last year.
01:34It's true.
01:35Take a look at what their record was in August this time last year.
01:38They completely fell apart, lost a lot of games in September.
01:41Cleveland caught them, knocked them out.
01:42But Detroit, talent-wise, it's there.
01:46And they have a good manager in A.J. Hinch.
01:48He just hasn't been able to get it together.
01:50So, to your point, maybe this is a little run here coming for Detroit.
01:55I, you know, kudos to them for not throwing, you know, you lose a guy like Scoble and Mize, your
02:01number one and number two pitchers.
02:03Melton goes out and throws seven shutout.
02:05He's good.
02:05Yeah, he's a good pitcher.
02:07Yeah.
02:07I don't know what to make of Seattle.
02:10Are we sticking a fork in Seattle at this point, even in the West?
02:14Is it over?
02:15Gosh.
02:16It feels like it's over.
02:17No, it's not over.
02:18But, man, like, Joe, come on.
02:20Like, they look awful.
02:22They look awful.
02:23They are terrible.
02:25Offensively, they're terrible.
02:26Even the bullpen is not looking.
02:29It's not good in Seattle.
02:30What a difference a year makes.
02:32That is for sure.
02:34But yet, with Brian Wu, he is 6-0 at home this year.
02:38He's been very good at home.
02:39Can't get it on the road, but at home, I don't know, the Tigers bats might be very good.
02:47Nice dog price with Detroit here tonight taking on Seattle.
02:52Go to Seattle.
