00:08as Aetna showed signs of recovery, according to CNBC. The company reported second quarter
00:13adjusted earnings of 2.58 per share on revenue of $106.1 billion, beating Wall Street estimates
00:20of $1.85 per share and $100.11 billion in revenue. The company raised its 2026 adjusted
00:26earnings guidance to $7.90 to $8.10 per share from $7.30 to $7.50 and increased its revenue
00:34outlook to at least $414 billion from at least $405 billion. CVS said the higher outlook reflects
00:40strength in its insurance and retail pharmacy businesses while maintaining a cautious view
00:45because of high medical costs and broader economic challenges. The healthcare giant also announced a
00:51collaboration with Eli Lilly to offer Zebbound and Foundayo through the CVS Health app beginning
00:56early in the fourth quarter. Shares rose 1% in pre-market trading Wednesday.
