00:49of course it would be said that they don't have any qualms about him physically but that can also
00:55just change on a dime i mean he's been in the league eight years he's played almost every week
00:59right for eight years his yeah 15 16 15 15 17 17 17 he's not missed a single game since

01:07the 17 game schedule right and he's barely missed any ever right yeah like two one game in his second
01:14year one game in his third year but he had he had one particular it was a thursday night in

01:20dj moore for the bears that year and he exploded it might have been 200 plus yards and three scores
01:27it was like the dj moore game would be that game for the bears that year he had a couple

01:33like good to really good games it wasn't like he wasn't and i'm not saying anybody else is saying
01:39that he was but it wasn't like a jefferson year or a chase year or jsn last year where it's

01:44week you couldn't cover him and this is three years ago it was just he had i mean he's he's
01:50talented he had a few spike week games that kind of you'd love to see this from shakir in his
01:55career
01:56once yeah where just like i've got the season you can't you can't beat him seven for 104 in week

02:02nine for 131 in week one of the weeks aren't there week five i'm gonna get in trouble with the
02:08week so
02:09week after that 10 for 230 against washington that's it thursday night three touchdowns that's
02:14it there and then uh eight for 51 nine 54 yards wise he doesn't have another 100 yard game until
02:22thanksgiving 13 for 114 he goes for against minnesota okay um oh sorry i mixed up the target
02:30and the and the catch line it's 11 for 114 so whatever but the numbers are all pretty close
02:35so it's a really good receiver season it's probably a wide receiver one season meaning like top 12
02:41in the league how you put it in a fantasy context wide receiver one top 12 but you know not

02:50which is to say what nothing new i still can't really find my footing on him and i'm listening to
03:02everybody and and with with bills fans themselves it really can be mixed because there's reason to be
03:10very optimistic about the player and the opportunity and the fact that the bills made this investment
03:16that's what most a lot of us have been clamoring for like it sort of works from a positive standpoint
03:23in these ways but there's also like what they paid for him and i still think there was pretty good
03:28chance he was going to be cut by the bears like the bears didn't want him and it was a
03:34contract
03:34obligation for them to get what they got from the bills for dj moore i think is incredible
03:40so that doesn't you know i'm thinking about maybe the first conversation i or we had with sal after
03:45that it's like well sure but when you make this trade the what you know he's on your team you
03:51don't
03:51have to wait for okay well i think he's going to get cut and then we'll try to sign them
03:56when that
03:56happens and then maybe 10 other teams will want to sign them when that happens this way you lock
04:01him in and okay well fine but i think what the trade was and what the money is is an
04:09implication
04:10that this guy is on a higher tier than he really is you know in honesty i think all of
04:18that
04:19leads to a narrative that can get you to underestimate what he's going to be capable
04:25of okay because i think that the trade i didn't like the trade either i think i was off the
04:30day
04:30it happened um but it was just it was kind of jarring that they spent that much on a guy

04:37like you i thought there was a chance he was going to get released but like you just said if
04:42you want
04:42to plan your off season and getting a receiver upgrade is something you want to get done i don't
04:49know can you afford to just wait because maybe being patient and waiting hurt him at the trade
04:55deadline hurt being at the trade deadline last year when there were receivers in play and he didn't end
04:59up pulling one into the boat and so like you know i i think it's possible he overpaid and knew

05:05just wanted to just make sure he got a guy um but that does start you from a somewhat of
05:11a negative
05:12point of view on the player if you're worried about the cost um you know now it's over you know
05:18that that draft is over i mean it's still it still stings because you could have something else with
05:25that if you didn't have to pay the premium you paid but um i i i think there and the
05:33history here
05:34at the everybody eats digs's production dropping off before he left and then him showing to still be
05:40capable uh in houston especially in new england last year i i think we might be as a fan base

05:48of predisposed to expecting excuse me the receiver thing not to work coleman hasn't really worked
05:54kinkade hasn't really popped like it just sort of gets you to like oh it's another guy that
06:00palmer didn't work nothing's worked that none of that means more won't work but it just sort of

06:34but he did trade for digs and if you're going to you know rag on him for what hasn't worked
