00:04He's about to face his fiercest enemy yet.
00:10Obviously, we're going for the same kind of tone as Tinker Taylor.

00:14It's very nice for them to see what a real spy should be doing.
00:18He's been away. He's been away for as long as it's been since the first movie, I suppose, which is
00:22about eight years.
00:23But we discover that five years before the start of our story in the second film, he was fired.
00:28And we don't quite know why at the beginning of the film.
00:30So he's been fired and he goes to Tibet and spends some time with some monks in order to find
00:37himself spiritually and physically.
00:40And then he is, luckily, he's called back by the British Secret Service to take on another mission.
00:46So that's the start of our story.
00:48Been away for some time, English. But you hadn't been forgotten.
00:53You made a laughing stock out of this service once. Not on my watch.
00:57Clear.
00:58And were you a big fan of Rowan beforehand? What was it like working with him?
01:02It was, you know, it's great to work with him. He's a gentleman and he's a lovely man.
01:06And he is, he's very serious. You know, comedy is a very serious business.
01:11And he takes it very seriously and he's a perfectionist.
01:14And so it kind of makes everybody around him get very, very serious about it.
01:18And then when we all huddle around the monitor afterwards to watch the tape, that's when everybody cracks up.
01:22He's obviously one of the best around. I mean, and he's very meticulous and very serious on set.
01:28It's not, it's not, it's not a laugh a minute on set, but it's, the result is, is extremely thorough
01:33and funny.
01:34I mean, he tests every joke and makes sure everything is, uh, is going to be funny.
01:39And so you're, you're at a different level of professionalism.
01:42My country needs me. It's Johnny English. It's kicks a bottom.
01:46A lot of laughter. It'd be nice if everybody left, um, left the theater smiling.
01:51Fun film. It's a real fun, um, action film, comedy, laughs, for all the family.
01:55You know, we put him through more, actually. We put him through more stress and difficulty and there's more action,
02:02more, it's more international, this movie.
