00:00Israel's withdrawal from Gaza will take place only after Hamas has been fully disarmed,
00:06according to the U.S.-led Board of Peace.
00:08The announcement follows a meeting between the board's director, Nikolai Mladenov,
00:12and Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:17Mladenov described the talks with Netanyahu and other Israeli officials on Monday as constructive and detailed.
00:23In a social media post after the meeting, the board said the next phase of the ceasefire
00:28will focus on dismantling weapons in Gaza before Israeli forces withdraw beyond the agreed military demarcation line.
00:35Hamas, however, insists the agreement cannot move forward unless Israel fulfills its commitments under the deal,
00:42while Netanyahu's office has also said the publicly released version of the agreement
00:47does not fully reflect Israel's position.
00:50On the ground, Israeli strikes have continued across Gaza, raising further doubts on the ceasefire's implementation.
00:56More than 1,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the Trump-backed ceasefire plan was agreed in
01:04October.
