00:03today announced that rapists child sex offenders and grooming offenders will be
00:08barred from this scheme obviously many victims still upset by this including
00:15the family of PC Andrew Harper but ultimately this is down to the fact
00:19there aren't enough prison places so can I just get your reaction to what the
00:23government have announced today so this time last week I sat on a panel where I
00:29had women who had been victims of horrific sexual assaults and violence
00:35telling the country that their rapists and their abusers were about to be
00:40released very very early and the fact is the government had to be forced into this
00:46by me and so many other people bringing the victims out they shouldn't have had
00:50to do that and yet still killers are going to be released like the killers of PC
00:55Andrew Harper I'm here you know out with police I see the hard work they do the
01:01idea that one of their that their killers will be out on early release or some of
01:05their killers I should say out on early release is is horrific
