01:11A reading from the book of the prophet Jeremiah.
01:17In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, the
01:24prophet Hananiah, son of Azor, from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the Lord,
01:29in the presence of the priest and all the people.
01:33Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel,
01:37I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
01:40Within two years I will restore to this place all the vessels of the temple of the Lord,
01:46which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took away from this place to Babylon.
01:52And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah, son of Jehoiachin, king of Judah,
01:58and all the exiles of Judah who went to Babylon, said the Lord.
02:03For I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
02:07The prophet Jeremiah answered the prophet Hananiah and the presence of the priest,
02:12and all the people assembled in the house of the Lord and said,
02:16Amen! Thus may the Lord fulfill the things you have prophesied,
02:22by bringing the vessels of the house of the Lord and all the exiles back from Babylon to this place.
02:29But now listen to what I am about to state in your hearing and your hearing of all the people.
02:35From above the prophets who were brought before you and me prophesied,
02:40war, woe, and pestilence against many lands and mighty kingdoms.
02:46But the prophet who prophesies his feast is recognized as truly sent by the Lord
02:52only when his prophetic prediction is fulfilled.
02:56Therefore the prophet Hananiah took the yoke and from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it,
03:03and said in the presence of all the people,
03:07This says the Lord,
03:09Even so within two years I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon,
03:15from all the neck of all the nations.
03:18At that the prophet Jeremiah went away.
03:23Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah,
03:29the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah,
03:32Go tell Hananiah this,
03:34Thus says the Lord,
03:36By breaking a wooden yoke you forge an iron yoke.
03:40For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel,
03:43A yoke of iron I will place on the neck of all these nations serving Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon.
03:50And they shall serve him even the beast of the field I give him.
03:55To the prophet Hananiah the prophet Jeremiah said,
03:58Hear this Hananiah,
04:00The Lord has not sent you and you have raised false confidence in this people.
04:06For this says the Lord, I will dispatch you from the face of the earth.
04:10This very year you shall die because you have preached rebellion against the Lord.
04:17That same year in the seventh month of Hananiah, the prophet died.
04:23The word of the Lord.
04:27Lord teach me your statutes.
04:31Remove from me the way of falsehood and favor me with your law.
04:40Take not the word of truth from my mouth, for in your ordinances is my hope.
04:48Let those turn to me who fear you and acknowledge your decrees.
04:55Let my heart be perfect in your statutes that I may not be put to shame.
05:03Send it away to destroy me, but I pray he to your decrees.
05:10From your ordinances I turn not away, for you have instructed me.

06:39Immediately, Jesus stretched out his hands and caught him and said to him,
06:46Oh, you of little faith.
06:47Why did you doubt?
06:50After they got into the boat, the wind died down.
06:54Those who were in the boat did him on and say, truly, you are the son of God.
07:00After making the crossing, they came to the land at Gennesaret.
07:06When the men of that place recognized him, they sent word to all the surrounding country.
07:12People brought him all who were sick and begged him that he might touch only their tassels of their cloak.
