00:00This blind senior was just dropped off at a shelter by the only family he's ever known for 13 years.
00:08He's so visibly confused and doesn't know what to do. He only knows that he's in a scary place
00:12that he's never been before. When Lisa, friend Frankie, Lola and friends saw videos of Eddie
00:18online, her heart shattered. She knew she had to pull him immediately and get him safely to a foster.
00:38Eddie's foster home is filled with dogs waiting for their forever homes.
00:44Although he's blind and his senior, he was so friendly immediately and really thankful to have
00:49other dogs to learn from. For the first couple of days, he needed to sleep off the stress of the
00:53shelter. But when he woke up, he was an old dog more than ready to learn new tricks.
00:57Come on, bud. You got it. Come on, Ed. Hey, hey, we're over here. Come on. Come on over here.
01:05He learned the entire lay of the land without the ability to see.
01:07There you go. You got it. Good boy.
01:10You ready? She's going for help right there. She's good.
01:13Learned how to walk with his pack with confidence.
01:15Oops. Good boy.
01:17More. Did you? And even learned what his squeaky toy was at the age of 13.
01:23Where are you going to go with it? What's the toy? Where are you going to take it?
01:33He has so much love left in him for a forever family, but he had to take care of two
01:37things before
01:38he started looking. First, he had to get his eyes taken care of. One of them was causing him a
01:43lot of
01:44problems and was extremely painful. He also desperately needed a groom. The latter was easily
01:50taken care of. Hi, handsome. How do you feel? You look so cute. Look at you.
01:57But after that, he unfortunately had to get one of his eyes removed.
02:01Get rid of that eye stick.
02:03I wish I could pop on your back.
02:06The big eye's gone. Yay. Hi, buddy.
02:09Once his eye was removed, he was an even happier, more loving, more easygoing dog.
02:14Perfect little travel partner.
02:16Eddie might be a senior boy, but he has so much love left to give a family.
02:19I just, like, hate it when blind dogs are in the shelter. Oh.
