Turkish company Baykar has announced a new milestone in the development of the Kizilelma combat drone after the aircraft released weapons stored in its internal bays for the first time.
During the tests, the aircraft deployed a Teber-82 guided bomb and a Tolun-P glide bomb against ground targets, expanding its operational capabilities and bringing it closer to the features found in modern stealth fighters. The achievement also establishes the Kizilelma as the first air-combat UCAV to employ internally carried weapons.
