00:01Okay. Hey there. My name is Dave. I've got something to say. The thing I've got to say is, and
00:07the times, they are changing. Or more specifically, the time change is changing. Basically, you know, daylight savings time. You
00:16know, something's been around for years. A lot of people really don't like it. You know, I kind of don't
00:20really like it myself. You know, the clock's spring forward in the spring and then fall back an hour in
00:27the fall.
00:27It's supposed to give us extra hours of sunlight in the summer in practice. I'm not sure it's ever reworked.
00:35Apparently, the House of Representatives just recently passed a bill, something called the Sunshine Protection Act, which will basically abolish
00:43the daylight savings time and switch the time to daylight savings time all year round.
00:50Yeah. And, first, I'm in favor of that. I might first refer to it. It may be standard time all
00:55year round, but I'll work with it. Okay.
00:58Well, like I said, the House passed it. Apparently, President Trump lacks it. It's got his endorsement. But this bill
01:03now has to go through the Senate.
01:05And apparently, there's some people there in the Senate, for some reason, you know, have some issues with it. You
01:09know, I'm not too sure about it.
01:11There are some people there just don't want to change things. They don't want to change the time change.
01:15Do I keep the time change the same, you know, even though that caused all that confusion in the spring
01:20and fall?
01:20No. No, let's just not change everything. Just leave everything like this. You know, just put it with the changes.
01:25Okay. But, you know, for me personally, it may still make some some things in my life easier.
01:30One thing being that in the spring and fall, I will not be having to explain to my cousin, Billy,
01:34you know, my cousin from Beach, Texas, that the time change, you know, the daylight same thing, does not mean
01:40that you have 25 hours in the summer and 23 hours in the winter.
01:44You know, it doesn't work that way. You know, sometimes he just doesn't seem to get that.
01:49But then again, he's the guy who, you know, sleeps till, you know, the crack of noon every day.
01:53So we kind of like, you know, he's never seen the sunrise anyway.
01:57So anyway, like I said, again, my name is Dave. I got something to say and I said it.
02:02Bye.
