06:03Uh, a message of, you know, don't give up.

06:10And I'm going to show you two shocking scriptures
06:14of times when Jesus prayed and it did not instantly happen.
06:22And, uh, those two instances in the New Testament
06:28are, um, the purpose of my Bible study today.
06:34Jesus was going down the streets of Jericho.
06:38There was a huge crowd following him.
06:40I mean, it was massive.
06:42And, uh, on the sides of the main street,
06:46there were, there were 10 people deep.
06:49You couldn't get from outside.
06:52You couldn't get back there out into the street
06:56to see Jesus.
06:58There were too many people jammed in.
07:00It was like a parade, if you will.
07:03And, uh,
07:06while this parade is going,
07:09a ruler of the synagogue
07:11breaks through the crowd.
07:13And I'm sure the crowd helped him get through.
07:16And he came running up to Jesus,
07:18fell down on his knees.
07:23Okay.
07:25Perfect introduction.
07:26That's how you do it.
07:27Before you go to prayer,
07:28try it.
07:29Worship.
07:31Worshiping.
07:32Smart move.
07:35And to Jesus,
07:37please come to my house.
07:39My daughter's almost dead.
07:43And, uh,
07:44my guess is that,
07:45uh,
07:46brother Jarius was his name.
07:48My guess is that he,
07:50he was,
07:51he had a big family,
07:52but he,
07:53but his wife had always coughed up a boy.
07:55Well,
07:56he finally got a girl
07:58and she was the baby of the family
07:59and she was daddy's girl.
08:01And,
08:02uh,
08:03this,
08:04this girl meant everything to this.
08:08Um,
08:10he loved his daughter more than anything in the world.
08:13He loved her far more than he loved himself.
08:17And he was begging Jesus to come to his house
08:21because she was so close to death.
08:23She might already be dead.
08:25And the first thing Jesus said
08:27is the first thing he says when you pray.

08:35So brother Jarius is leading him toward his house.
08:38There's a huge crowd there.
08:41Well,
08:41a bunch of people come running up from the,
08:43from the synagogue and from his home.
08:46And they tell him,
08:48don't bother this rabbi anymore.
08:51Your daughter just died.
08:53She's dead already.
08:55Well,
08:55that's,
08:56that sent shockwaves of fear
08:59shooting through brother Jarius's body.
09:02He could feel it.
09:03Do you have,
09:03do you have fear demons?
09:05You know,
09:05you do because they hide in this area here
09:07and your tummy,
09:08sometimes in the groin,
09:10but usually the tummy
09:11and usually you hear around the heart
09:13and the chest near under the sternum
09:16and you can feel them in there.
09:17It gets kind of tight.
09:19You can feel a pressure,
09:20a little bit of pressure
09:22when they start manifesting.
09:23Fear demons usually hang into this area right here.
09:27Hard with his fear demons.
09:29And he was,
09:30he felt the stabbing pain in his stomach.
09:33Some fear demons give you a stab.
09:35Like,
09:36hey,
09:36I'm here
09:37and you're going to be scared to death
09:38and you're not getting an answer to your prayer.
09:40Take that,
09:41you piece of human garbage.
09:44And you can actually kind of feel fear.
09:47Your body kind of crumples like that.
09:49Fear demons are really strange creatures.
09:54We turned around,
09:55looks at Jesus,
09:56total panic on his face.
09:59And Jesus looks at him and says,
10:03keep on believing.
10:05See,
10:06he did believe
10:06he was doing fine
10:08until the devil sent him a negative word.
10:12That is exactly
10:14how
10:15he treats you.
10:18You have a need,
10:20you have
10:20a
10:22prayer you need answered
10:23and you're believing
10:25and you have faith
10:26because you prayed the prayer in the first place.
10:28That proves you have faith.
10:30But then
10:32the devil sends in
10:34a negative
10:35word.
10:37He loves
10:38negative words.
10:40Usually it comes from your spouse.
10:41Usually it comes from your kids.
10:43Usually it comes from your parents.
10:44Usually it comes from a co-worker.
10:46Somebody that's around you,
10:48someone close to you,
10:49those are the people he likes to use.
10:51He uses people
10:53who you have an emotional
10:55vestment in.
10:58That makes the word
10:59more impactful.
11:01If it's a total stranger
11:03or somebody on TV,
11:05they don't have near the effect
11:07of someone
11:08who is
11:09supposed to love you,
11:10supposed to care for you,
11:12supposed to respect you,
11:14and they don't.
11:16And a negative word
11:18comes in
11:19and it's
11:20purely satanic
11:21trying to get you
11:23to stop
11:24believing.
11:26And Jesus
11:27circumvented it
11:28by looking at
11:29Jairus
11:29perfectly calm.
11:31There was no fear
11:33on Jesus' face.
11:34No panic.
11:35He said,
11:36keep on believing.
11:39And guess what happened?
11:42Yeah.
11:43He kept
11:45on believing.
11:46He kept
11:47on believing.
11:48And you know
11:49the rest of the story.
11:50His daughter
11:51was raised
11:51from the dead.

12:00is kind of
12:01familiar
12:02with this story.
12:04But there's
12:05a twist
12:07that is
12:08really actually
12:09kind of shocking.
12:10And a lot of people,
12:11some people
12:11are offended by it.
12:12I'm not.
12:12I see the hidden
12:14value in it.
12:17But
12:18let's say
12:1927.
12:20Luke
12:208,
12:2027.
12:21When they
12:22went forth
12:23to the land,
12:25you know,
12:25they got off
12:26the boat,
12:26they met,
12:27they met him
12:28out of the
12:29city,
12:30a certain
12:31man
12:32that had
12:33devils,
12:35Greek word
12:36daemonium,
12:36demons,
12:38long time.
12:39This guy
12:40had been
12:40infected with
12:41demons
12:41for years.
12:43and
12:44he wore
12:46no clothes
12:48and
12:48he
12:49abode
12:50not in
12:51a house
12:52but in
12:52the tombs
12:55dead
12:56people.
12:58This guy
12:59was
13:00aggressively
13:00homeless,
13:02had no
13:03home,
13:03no family,
13:04no friends.
13:05This guy
13:06had nothing
13:07but demons.
13:07That's all
13:08he had.

13:12out.

13:14anakrazo.
13:15It means
13:16to scream
13:17at the top
13:18of your lungs.
13:19Have you
13:20ever been
13:20in a
13:21deliverance
13:21service
13:22where
13:22fear demons
13:23started
13:24screaming
13:24in the
13:26service?
13:28Yeah,
13:28I've had
13:29I guess
13:30a thousand
13:30of them,
13:31literally.
13:32They start
13:33yelling and
13:33screaming.
13:35They try
13:36to cause
13:36distractions.
13:37They pitch
13:38a big fit.
13:40I've seen
13:40it well
13:41over a
13:42thousand
13:42times.
13:44It says
13:44he cried
13:45out,
13:45screamed at
13:45the top
13:46of his
13:46lung,
13:46and he
13:47fell down
13:48before
13:48Jesus.
13:49And with
13:50a loud
13:51voice,
13:52he said,
13:54what have
13:55I to
13:56do with
13:57you,
13:58Jesus,
13:59Son of

14:08dissociative.

14:10demon takes

14:22Those are
14:23the kind

14:29talking to
14:29this person
14:30a minute
14:30ago and
14:31suddenly

14:31is there.

14:32weird.

14:34experience.

14:37dipsychus
14:37among
14:38everything
14:38else.

14:40said,

15:42him bound
15:42with chains
15:43and fetters

15:45broke
15:46the bands
15:48and he
15:49was driven
15:49of the devil
15:50into the
15:50wilderness.
15:52And then
15:53Jesus
15:53asked him
15:54in verse

15:55what is
15:56your name?
15:58and he
15:58said,
16:02because we
16:02are many,
16:04we are
16:05many
16:06devils
16:09were
16:09entered
16:09into him.
16:10So this
16:10was an
16:11extreme
16:11case of
16:12and Jesus
16:13had been
16:14commanding
16:14the demons
16:15to come
16:15out and
16:15they didn't
16:16come out.
16:18And in
16:19your life
16:19and in
16:19your ministry
16:20you got
16:21to take
16:25you don't
16:26just
16:26and have
16:27it happen.
16:29You don't
16:29command a
16:30demon out
16:30once
16:32and they
16:32come right
16:33out all
16:33the time.
16:35You don't
16:35pray for
16:36somebody to
16:36be healed
16:38and they're
16:38always instantly
16:39healed after
16:40one prayer.
16:42No.
16:43What the
16:44Holy Ghost
16:44is telling
16:45us here
16:45is sometimes
16:47you got
16:48to keep
16:48on believing
16:49like Brother
16:50Jarius.
16:51you got
16:51to keep
16:52pressing
16:52forward.

16:54going
16:56the right
16:57direction.

17:05to beg

17:18They didn't

17:34pigs.

17:35happened to
17:35you before.
17:36And yeah,
17:37you've looked
17:38over there
17:39or here
17:39in some
17:40areas of
17:41your family
17:42and you
17:43saw a bunch
17:43of pigs.
17:45Pigs all
17:46over the place.
17:47You saw a bunch
17:47of people at
17:48work.
17:48Boy,
17:49they look
17:49like pigs
17:49through.
17:50Yeah,
17:51the devil
17:51will always
17:52send you
17:52a negative
17:53word and
17:54some pig
17:56to be in
17:57your life
17:57to distract
17:58you from
17:58the things
17:59of God
17:59and they'll
18:01pass gas
18:02and poop
18:03and oink
18:04and grunt
18:05and groan.
18:06They'll do
18:06anything they
18:07can to
18:07distract you
18:08from your
18:09main purpose,
18:11your anointing
18:12and your
18:13giftings.
18:16said,
18:16whoa,
18:17hey,
18:17it's pig
18:17time.
18:19And then
18:20after that,
18:21Jesus didn't
18:22even cast
18:22them out.
18:23He just
18:23said,
18:23go.
18:25They just
18:25left.

19:23more miracles

19:27repented,

19:51only going

22:06those plastic

22:08even know
22:08if they
22:09have them
22:09anymore.
22:10And it
22:11was summertime
22:11in Anaheim,
22:13California.
22:14And I
22:14was out
22:15running down
22:16the trail
22:17by the
22:17railroad tracks
22:18middle of
22:19the day
22:19in the
22:20heat.
22:23And by
22:23the time
22:24I was
22:24about four
22:25pounds.
22:25I was
22:25underweight
22:27ready to
22:27go.
22:29Almost
22:29killed
22:30myself.
22:31But I
22:32was spitting
22:32the whole
22:33way I
22:33was jogging.
22:34I was
22:34trying to
22:35get the
22:35liquids out
22:35of my
22:36body.

22:36unfortunately
22:37that habit
22:37stayed with
22:38me the
22:38rest of
22:38my life.
22:39I'm sorry
22:40to admit
22:40this on

22:41but I
22:42have a
22:43habit of
22:43spitting.
22:44I shouldn't
22:44have it.
22:45I just
22:45never broke
22:45it.
22:46But anyway,
22:47Jesus spit
22:49into the
22:49guy's eyes,
22:51if you can
22:51believe that.

22:55interesting
22:56series.

23:38been sinning.

24:44this healing

24:47hand
24:48taken this
24:50guy out
24:51of a
24:51city of
24:52unbelief.

24:54from Beth

24:56was from
24:57a city

24:59unbelievers.
25:00These people
25:01were
25:01hard-hearted,
25:04stone-cold
25:06unbelievers.
25:08And this
25:09unbelief had
25:10kind of
25:10hit the
25:11sky.
25:12See,
25:13faith
25:13spreads
25:15quickly.
25:16Unbelief
25:17spreads
25:18quickly.
25:21And the
25:21whole town,
25:22Beth
25:22Theta,
25:23had been
25:23cursed and
25:24thrown out
25:24of them,
25:26seeing any
25:26more miracles
25:27from God
25:28because they
25:29saw all the
25:30miracles in
25:31the world
25:31and never
25:32changed and
25:33never repented.
25:36that's the
25:36sad state of
25:37many Christians
25:38now.
25:38They've been
25:38to church
25:39so many
25:39times,
25:39they are
25:40now totally
25:41burnt out.
25:43They're
25:43churched out.
25:45They've been
25:45to church
25:45too many
25:46times.
25:47Going to
25:47church too
25:48much is a
25:49terrible
25:49deficit.
25:52So Jesus
25:53made him
25:54take an
25:54ept,
25:55a move
25:56of faith.
25:58Put his
25:59hands on
25:59him again.

26:00require any
26:01faith on
26:01the guy's
26:02part.

26:56chances,
26:57X amount of
26:58mulligans,
26:58X amount of
26:59opportunities,
27:00but then
27:00if you
27:01don't
27:01take
27:01advantage
27:01of them
27:03and you
27:04keep saying
27:04no,
27:05it stops.

27:13several decades

27:36preacher.
27:37He was

27:38very good
27:39public
27:39speaker,
27:40wasn't a
27:40very good
27:40preacher,
27:41didn't have
27:42any cosmetic
27:43appeal,
27:43just looked
27:44like a
27:44run-of-the-mill
27:45guy.
27:46And he
27:47had finished
27:47his teaching
27:50sermon,
27:52time for
27:53healing.
27:54This guy
27:54had a
27:55healing
27:56gift that
27:56was like
27:59freaky.
28:02Back in
28:03those days,
28:03they would
28:03use healing
28:04lines.
28:06And each
28:07person
28:08came up
28:09one line,
28:09he would
28:10take each
28:10person
28:11separately.
28:13Well,
28:13he's talking
28:14to this one
28:14guy about
28:15where they
28:15had to
28:15pray for
28:16him,
28:16and five
28:17or six
28:18or seven
28:18people down
28:19the line,
28:21A.A.
28:22Allen steps
28:22out and
28:23he says
28:23to the
28:24guy,
28:25it was a
28:26woman,
28:27he says
28:28to the
28:28woman,
28:30you need
28:30to get
28:31out of
28:31line.
28:32I'm not
28:32allowed to
28:33pray for
28:33you.
28:37And the
28:38minister that
28:38was in
28:39that service
28:40that saw
28:41that happen,
28:43I talked
28:44to him
28:45personally.
28:46He went
28:47to the
28:48Dream Center
28:48in Scottsdale
28:49with me
28:50and I
28:51knew him
28:51personally
28:53and he
28:54saw this
28:55happen.
28:55He was
28:56one of the
28:56ushers in
28:56that service.
28:58It was in
28:59the late
28:5950s.
29:02And the
29:03woman flopped
29:04on the
29:05ground and
29:06started to
29:10go like
29:11a snake.
29:13She screamed,
29:14hit the ground
29:15and started
29:15to slither
29:17out.
29:17This is
29:18exactly what
29:18the guy
29:18told me.
29:19I'm not
29:20making this
29:20up.
29:21She slithered
29:23like a
29:23snake all
29:24the way to
29:25the side
29:25door and
29:26left the
29:26building.
29:30You only
29:30get a
29:31certain amount
29:31of chances
29:32in life and
29:33then they
29:33stop.
29:37And so
29:38what God
29:38is telling
29:39us is if
29:39the demons
29:40don't come
29:40out right
29:41away, keep
29:41going.
29:42If the
29:42healing is
29:43not instantaneous,
29:44keep going.
29:47If she
29:48dies, keep
29:49going.
29:53Keep
29:54going and
29:54you will
29:55find all
29:57of your
29:57miracles from
29:58God.

30:43obvious reasons.
30:44The stuff I
30:45teach is not
30:45going to make
30:47mainstream.
30:48You have

30:52chance if

30:54on believing.

31:01You cannot
31:02stop.
31:04And if you
31:05don't stop,

31:10The dying
31:11leper
31:13was walking
31:14along
31:16to get
31:17to Jesus
31:19and he
31:20had full
31:21blown
31:21stage four
31:22leprosy,
31:23sicker than a
31:24dog,
31:24chunks of
31:25his flesh
31:26were falling
31:26off.
31:27He had
31:27infections all
31:28over his
31:29body.
31:29He was a
31:30walking bag
31:32of feces.
31:33He stunk
31:34to high
31:35heaven.
31:36You could
31:36smell him
31:36coming a
31:37half a
31:38block away.
31:39This guy
31:39was terminally
31:41ill and he
31:43was going
31:44to die.
31:45The devil
31:45was about
31:46ready to
31:46dump him
31:47into the
31:48latrine.
31:49And this
31:50guy was
31:51walking,
31:52exhausted,
31:53walking,
31:53tired.
31:54looking,
31:56getting
31:57discouraged.
31:59He felt
32:00like quitting.
32:02He felt
32:02like laying
32:03down and
32:03dying.
32:04But you
32:04know what?
32:04That dying
32:05leper,
32:06I'm telling
32:07you, that
32:07guy, he
32:08never quit.
32:10He just
32:11kept going.
32:13He just
32:13kept on
32:14believing.
32:16And when he
32:17got to
32:17Jesus, he
32:18still had a
32:19teeny bit of
32:20doubt in his
32:20soul.
32:21He says to
32:22Jesus, if
32:24you want
32:25to, you
32:27could make
32:27me clean.
32:29See, he
32:30knew that, he
32:31knew Jesus
32:31could make
32:32him clean.
32:33He just
32:33wasn't sure
32:34he wanted
32:35to.
32:38To the
32:39Greek word
32:40phthalo, I
32:42desire to
32:43do that.
32:45Be clean.
32:47He did the
32:47blind man of
32:47Bethsaida.
32:49Touches him.
32:52Touches him.

32:53disease.

32:55The guy was
32:56completely
32:57restored.

32:59dirty scabs
32:59fell off of

33:17and saw

33:18discouragement.
33:19He listened
33:19to everybody
33:20and got
33:20nothing but
33:21negative
33:21words.
33:22He looked
33:23at the
33:23devil and
33:23the devil
33:24gave him
33:24the finger
33:25and told
33:25him to
33:25go hose
33:26himself.
33:27Everything
33:27he heard,
33:28everything he
33:29saw was
33:29negative,
33:30but
33:32bother the
33:33rabbi
33:33anymore.
33:34She's
33:34dead.
33:35Come on,
33:36we got to
33:36get back
33:36to make
33:36the funeral.
33:37We're
33:38Jewish,
33:38so they
33:39have to
33:39be buried
33:39within 24
33:40hours.
33:42And Jesus
33:43said,
33:43don't work
33:44on the
33:44funeral,
33:45just keep
33:46on
33:46believing.
33:48And that's
33:48what you're
33:49going to do,
33:50aren't you?
