03:53contemplating going into the ministry, I want to talk
03:57to you today. I want to encourage you and I want to make sure
04:01that it goes smoothly for you and you have a
04:05successful transition.
04:09By the way, once again, thank you so much for your prayers and your donations during
04:13the revival we had. We paid all of our bills for the revival
04:18last month
04:18and
04:20it was fantastic. We had a rack of
04:23healings and deliverances you wouldn't have believed.
04:26What a wonderful time

04:34And
04:34we're going to be doing some more stuff sooner than that
04:38because
04:39my theory on the ministry is
04:41if something works, go ahead and repeat it. If it's not working,
04:44either delete it or modify it.
04:47But don't keep going with the same thing that doesn't work.

05:33the Lord. The anointing
05:35is so heavy that after the
05:37worship service, there's a huge deliverance

05:40deliverances are very easy
05:43after the worship service.
05:46For obvious reasons, you draw in the Holy
05:48Ghost and boom,
05:51great things happen.

05:56Okay. Have you been thinking about
05:59going into ministry? I hope you have.
06:01I hope God has called you into ministry.
06:04some kind of ministry.
06:06But let's focus
06:07on a Holy Ghost ministry.
06:09Healing the sick, casting
06:10out demons, supernatural
06:13works of God.
06:15Many people are interested
06:17in that kind of ministry now.
06:20Deliverance is kind
06:20of the flavor of the month now.
06:25It has been for quite a while, but
06:26that'll pass. That's a fad that will pass.
06:29It's not going to be a permanent
06:30situation, but
06:33you are going to be a permanent
06:34situation, and you're going to be
06:37in the ministry
06:38causing the devil
06:40nothing but
06:41problems.
06:43Your goal in life is
06:45when you come around, the devil
06:46has to change
06:47his depends.
06:50When the devil looks at you
06:51and goes,
06:52oh no,
06:53you have arrived
06:54spiritually.
06:57For most of you,
06:59when you come around,
06:59the devil is laughing
07:00his guts up.
07:02He's developing
07:03huge flatulence.
07:05Giggling yourself
07:07half to sleep.
07:08But that's going to change.
07:09It's going to change
07:10starting today.
07:11Let's do it.
07:12I want you to focus
07:13on two chapters.
07:15Luke chapter 9
07:17and Luke chapter 10.
07:20Jesus'
07:22ministry
07:24is
07:26going fantastic
07:27fantastic as you can
07:28imagine.
07:30But he has to
07:31prepare for
07:33the future.
07:36And all ministries,
07:38all ministries
07:39that are worth their
07:41weight in anything
07:42has to prepare
07:43for the future.
07:46And Jesus wasn't going to be
07:47around much longer,
07:48as you know.
07:50On the Mount of Ascension,
07:51he went back home
07:53to glory.
07:55And he was standing
07:56in the throne room
07:57next to the Father
07:58when Stephen was
07:59murdered.
08:00Because Stephen
08:00looked up and said,
08:01I see the Lord Jesus.
08:02There he is.
08:03He's standing
08:03at the right hand
08:05of God.
08:06What a great scene
08:07that was.
08:09Fantastic,
08:10to say the least.
08:12And
08:13Jesus was standing
08:14there because
08:15he had gotten up
08:16off his throne
08:16to welcome Stephen
08:17back.
08:19Welcome him
08:20into heaven,
08:20which was really neat.
08:21I thought that was
08:22fantastic.
08:23But Jesus is
08:24preparing for the future
08:25and you
08:26are
08:27his future.
08:29Here's how he does it.
08:32You've got to do it
08:33like Jesus did it.
08:34That's the best way
08:35to do things,
08:36isn't it?
08:37Most people would agree
08:38with that.
08:39Chapter 9,
08:40Luke.
08:41Then Jesus called
08:42his twelve disciples.
08:45He called them together
08:46and he gave them
08:47power and authority.
08:48Now here,
08:49power is dunamis,
08:51authority is exousia.
08:55authority and power
08:57are different.
08:58But in this particular
08:59case,
09:00Jesus gave them
09:01both.
09:04And the authority
09:06and the supernatural
09:07power was given
09:08to them
09:09concerning,
09:10it says,
09:11all
09:13daemonian
09:14demons
09:16and to cure
09:18diseases,
09:20diseases,
09:22which are either
09:23caused or
09:24exacerbated by demons.
09:26So here you see
09:27the mission.
09:28There's only twelve
09:29people.
09:30That's it.
09:31One of them was Judas,
09:32by the way.
09:33And he sent them
09:35to preach
09:35the kingdom
09:36of God
09:38and
09:38the Greek word
09:40is karuso,
09:41which means
09:42to proclaim,
09:44to proclimate
09:45the kingdom
09:46of God.
09:48And,
09:49it says,
09:50and
09:51to heal
09:52the sick.
09:55He said to them,
09:57don't take anything
09:58with you.
09:58Don't carry your
09:59purses,
10:00don't pack a lunch,
10:01don't do this,
10:01don't do that.
10:03And whenever
10:04house you enter
10:05to spread the gospel,
10:07to preach
10:07the kingdom
10:08of God,
10:09stay there
10:10and remain there
10:12and later
10:12depart from there.
10:14I don't want you
10:15moving in.
10:16You're an evangelist
10:17so you go
10:18from one
10:18to the other.
10:20Verse five,
10:20and
10:20whoever
10:22will not
10:22receive you
10:25when you
10:26leave,
10:27shake the dust
10:28off your feet.
10:30As a testimony,
10:34against them.
10:37And they
10:38departed
10:38and went
10:39through the towns
10:39preaching the gospel
10:40and healing
10:41everywhere.
10:44And then,
10:44of course,
10:45Herod thinks,
10:45oh my gosh,
10:46what's going on here?
10:47John the Baptist
10:48rose from the dead.
10:51All right,
10:52now let's go
10:52to one chapter
10:53over.
10:55Chapter 10,
10:57verse one.
10:57After these things,
10:58Jesus
11:00appointed,

11:05the word 70?
11:08Wow,
11:08that has
11:10Israelite
11:10and Israeli
11:11and Jewish
11:12connotations,
11:13does it not?
11:13By the way,
11:1470 was the term
11:15used to describe
11:17the scholars
11:17who translated
11:18the Septuagint,
11:20the greatest
11:20Bible in history,
11:21the Bible
11:22that Jesus
11:23read out of.
11:25Jesus
11:26appoints
11:27other 70.
11:29The Greek
11:29word for
11:30utter there
11:30is heteros,
11:31which means
11:32different.
11:34These are not
11:35the 12 apostles,
11:36disciples.
11:38No,
11:38these are
11:39different
11:40people,
11:4270
11:42different
11:45servants.
11:47he sends
11:47them out
11:48two by
11:48two
11:50before
11:50his
11:52face,
11:52Greek word
11:53prosopo,
11:54the two
11:55would come
11:55up
11:57standing in
11:57the presence
11:58of Jesus
11:58and then he
11:59would transfer
12:01his anointing
12:02upon those
12:02two,
12:03then those
12:03two would
12:03go
12:05and on
12:06down the
12:06line.
12:08They came
12:09before his
12:09face
12:13and into
12:14every city
12:14and place
12:15where
12:16Jesus
12:17himself
12:19would
12:20come.
12:22What were
12:22they doing?
12:24Preparing
12:25the way
12:25for Christ.
12:27So Jesus
12:28sent them
12:28out like
12:30he's sending
12:30you out.
12:32You're a
12:33different
12:35group from
12:36the 70,
12:37right?
12:37The 70
12:37were different
12:38from the
12:3812.
12:38you are
12:40different
12:40from the
12:4070.
12:41It doesn't
12:41matter.
12:42You're still
12:42being sent.
12:45But everywhere
12:46you're sent
12:47is where
12:48Jesus
12:49himself
12:49would have
12:50gone.
12:51You are
12:51his
12:52ambassador
12:53for Christ.
12:54You are
12:54his
12:54representative.
12:55You are
12:57his power
12:58of attorney.
13:00And Jesus
13:01says to the

13:02gather around
13:03me,
13:04folks.
13:04Listen up
13:04now.
13:08here it

13:09The harvest
13:09is truly
13:11great,
13:13but the
13:14laborers
13:15are few.
13:17Pray to
13:18the Lord
13:19of the
13:19harvest
13:21and they'll
13:22send out
13:22laborers.
13:24Go your
13:25way and
13:25behold,
13:25I send
13:26you forth
13:26as lambs
13:27among
13:28wolves.
13:29If you
13:31decide you
13:31want to
13:32go in
13:32the
13:32ministry,
13:33and I
13:34hope you
13:34have,
13:36you got to
13:36understand that
13:37some people
13:38are going
13:38to viciously,
13:40violently,
13:41or aggressively,
13:42or enthusiastically
13:44oppose you.
13:46Those are
13:48wolves.
13:51Wolves.
13:54He says,
13:56don't take
13:56anything with
13:56you.
13:57Don't bring
13:57a purse.
13:58Don't pack
13:59a lot.
13:59He said
13:59that to
14:00the twelve
14:00too.
14:01Why did
14:01he do
14:01that?
14:02Well,
14:03it was
14:03easy.
14:03He was
14:04trying to
14:04get them
14:05to rely
14:07on the
14:08providential
14:09care of
14:10the Holy
14:10Ghost.
14:12He wanted
14:14them to
14:14understand that
14:15even though
14:16they don't
14:16have a lot
14:18and they're
14:19not bringing
14:20a lot to
14:20the table
14:22materialistically,
14:24economically,
14:26financially,
14:27it doesn't
14:27matter.
14:27the Holy
14:28Ghost will
14:29provide.
14:30As
14:31Abraham
14:31said to
14:32Isaac,
14:34Yahweh or
14:35Jehovah will
14:36provide a
14:37sacrifice.
14:40You're out
14:41among the
14:42wolves, but
14:43you're not a
14:43wolf.
14:44You're a
14:45lamb.
14:45You're not
14:46like a TV
14:47preacher.
14:47You got

15:09Why?
15:10Because they
15:10need another
15:10limousine,
15:11another jet,
15:12another mansion,
15:13what have you.
15:15on Judgment
15:16Day, those
15:16people are
15:17going to be
15:17absolutely
15:18shocked,
15:18are they
15:19not?
15:20Yeah,
15:20they're going
15:20to hear
15:22Jesus say,
15:23you already
15:23had your
15:24reward.
15:25You're not
15:26getting a
15:26mansion in
15:27glory, you
15:27had one on
15:28earth.
15:30You're not
15:31going to live
15:31in the lap
15:32of luxury
15:32in heaven,
15:33you lived
15:34in a lap
15:35of luxury
15:36on earth.
15:37You already
15:38have your
15:38reward.
15:40Jesus said,
15:41don't carry
15:41anything with
15:42you,
15:43and don't
15:44take a
15:45script with
15:46you.
15:47God doesn't
15:48want you to
15:49read a
15:49prepared script
15:51to evangelize
15:52somebody.
15:53You know
15:53what's more
15:54effective?
15:55You give
15:57them your
15:57testimony,
15:58you speaking
15:59from your
15:59heart,
16:00you speak
16:01out of your
16:02soul,
16:03not read
16:04off a
16:04script.
16:08You don't
16:09need to
16:09take any
16:09shoes with
16:10you.
16:11Remember,
16:11during the
16:1240 years
16:12in the
16:12wilderness,
16:14the Israelites
16:16had the
16:17same pair
16:17of shoes
16:17they entered,
16:19and they
16:19were not
16:20worn out.
16:20The clothes
16:21were not
16:21worn out,
16:22nothing.
16:23God preserved
16:24everything they
16:25had, fed
16:26them every
16:26day, man
16:27or from
16:28heaven, and
16:30God's going
16:31to do the
16:31same for
16:32you.
16:32He's telling
16:33you, look,
16:34as I
16:35took care
16:36of the
16:36Jews, even
16:38though they
16:39were in
16:39rebellion for
16:4040 years,
16:42I took
16:42care of
16:43them.
16:45Thandals,
16:46great.
16:46Roads,
16:47great.
16:49Water,
16:50man,
16:50got you
16:51covered.
16:53God's going
16:53to cover
16:54you.
16:55And he's
16:55telling these
16:56people these
16:56are all
16:57Messianic
16:57Jews.
16:58So they
16:59recognize
16:59this.
17:00You don't
17:01need to
17:01take a
17:02script with
17:02you.
17:02You don't
17:02need a
17:03purse.
17:03You don't
17:03need shoes.
17:05God will
17:06provide.
17:10And then
17:11it says
17:12something
17:13interesting.
17:16Whatever
17:16house you
17:17enter, let
17:19your peace
17:20be on that
17:20house, the
17:22peace of
17:23God.
17:23See, you
17:24are a
17:25transmitter, a
17:26conduit, a
17:27carrier of
17:30the peace of
17:30God.
17:33God, that's
17:34you.
17:37And you
17:38can't
17:38transmit the
17:39peace of
17:39God to
17:39people if
17:40you don't
17:40have it
17:40yourself.
17:43So let
17:44your peace
17:45remain upon
17:46that home.
17:48But if
17:48not, if
17:51not, it
17:52says, that's
17:52the exact
17:53quote, it
17:55shall turn
17:56back to
17:56you again.
17:59Now, when
18:00you go
18:00into that
18:00home, if
18:01you give
18:02them the
18:03peace of
18:03God and
18:05they provide
18:06where they
18:06provide for
18:07you, food,
18:09drink, what
18:10have you, go
18:11ahead and take
18:12that.
18:13Just stick
18:13with that.
18:14Don't sit
18:15there like a
18:16TV preacher and
18:17say, well, you
18:18know, to get
18:19bigger blessings
18:19from God, you
18:20need to give
18:20me more
18:21stuff.
18:22that's total
18:23insanity.
18:24You know
18:24it's insanity.
18:25It's a
18:26demonic lie.
18:27On the face
18:27of it, anybody
18:28with half a
18:29brain can see
18:29that who's
18:30not mentally
18:31deluded.
18:32No kidding.
18:35For the
18:36laborer is
18:37worthy of
18:38his hire.
18:38What was the
18:39payment for
18:40the laborer?
18:41What they
18:42needed to go
18:43to the next
18:43house.
18:47They weren't
18:47to turn over
18:48their home,
18:49their land,
18:49sell their
18:50kids, give
18:50them money.
18:51No, God's
18:52not asking
18:52for that.
18:55But you
18:56are worthy
18:56of your
18:57hire to
18:59God.
19:01And you
19:01go from
19:02house to
19:02house, from
19:04city to
19:05city, he
19:05says.
19:08And whatever
19:09they give
19:09you, if
19:11they're going
19:11to feed
19:11you, go
19:13ahead and
19:13eat it.
19:17And then
19:17he says,
19:18heal the
19:19sick.
19:19That's your
19:20job.
19:23tell them
19:23the kingdom
19:24of God
19:25has come
19:25near you.
19:28Whatever
19:29city you
19:29enter, he
19:30says, verse
19:3010, and
19:33they receive
19:33you not.
19:36What's it
19:37say to do?
19:41Kick the
19:41dust off
19:42your feet
19:43and move
19:44on to the
19:45next house.
19:46See?
19:46You don't
19:47take offenses
19:48against people.
19:49You don't
19:50get bummed
19:50out.
19:53You don't
19:54beat yourself
19:54down.
19:55Oh my God, I
19:55should have
19:55done a better
19:56job.
19:56It's all my
19:57fault.
19:59You don't
19:59do that.
20:00You just
20:00simply, all
20:01right, becomes
20:03a business
20:04transaction at
20:05that moment.
20:06Time for me

20:07next house

20:16you because

21:01involved, this
21:02isn't personal,

21:03personally rejecting

21:05rejecting God,

21:09house.
21:12And God
21:13says, I'll
21:14take it from
21:14here.
21:16And that's
21:17exactly what
21:18you got to do
21:18in the ministry
21:19and that way
21:20the burden
21:20lifts off of
21:21you, all
21:21the pressure
21:22comes off
21:23of you, it's
21:24off your
21:25shoulders, because
21:26it's not about
21:27you.
21:31You can get
21:32out there and
21:32preach your
21:33head off, and
21:35if everybody
21:36tells you to
21:36go screw
21:37yourself, okay,
21:41I'll move on
21:42to the next
21:42platform.
21:45Whatever.
21:51you let it
21:52go.
21:53You don't
21:54take it
21:54personal.
21:55Oh my God,
21:56what's my
21:56problem, man?
21:57I should have
21:58preached it
21:59better, or did I
22:01screw up in how I
22:02presented it?
22:03Did I eat too
22:04much?
22:05Did I say

22:11You go there and
22:12proclaim the
22:13kingdom of God,

23:54develop that
23:55attitude,

24:02the ministry
24:03to the day
24:03you drop
24:04dead.
24:04You'll have
24:05a long
24:05prosperous
24:06ministry,

24:13don't take
24:13stuff personal.
24:15In the United
24:16States and
24:18Canada,
24:19particularly
24:19Canada,
24:20there's just
24:21a massive
24:22hate movement
24:23for Christ
24:23and the
24:24Bible,
24:24and it's
24:25really scary.
24:28Really scary.
24:29They just
24:29passed the law
24:30up in
24:30Canada.
24:34Senate Bill
24:346 or
24:35something like
24:35that,
24:36wasn't that
24:36it?
24:37Boy,
24:37it's very
24:38scary.
24:38It made
24:40parts of
24:41the Bible
24:41hate speech.
24:45Yet,
24:45very scary
24:47new law
24:47up in
24:48Canada,
24:48and the
24:49Bible's
24:49just getting
24:51taken to
24:52the dumpster
24:52up there.
24:53We're
24:54next.
24:55We're
24:55next.
24:56If
24:57something
24:57super
24:57sick
24:58goes on
24:59in
25:00Europe
25:00or
25:00Canada,
25:02Australia,
25:04Great
25:04Britain,
25:04whatever it
25:05is,
25:06eventually
25:06it washes
25:07the shore
25:08over here.
25:09Just like
25:10physician-assisted
25:11suicide,
25:13just like
25:14euthanasia,
25:14all this
25:15stuff,
25:15it eventually
25:16washes up
25:17on the
25:18beaches of
25:18America.

25:22don't take
25:22things personal.
25:23You don't
25:23take it
25:24personal.
25:26Because Jesus
25:28warned us.

25:31daycare,

25:32bring you
25:32a circus,
25:33I didn't
25:33bring the
25:34county fair
25:34over to
25:35you,

25:36a sword.
25:39And that
25:40sword
25:41causes
25:43division.
25:46And Jesus
25:47warned us.
25:50Kids are
25:51going to
25:51turn on
25:51the parents,
25:52parents are
25:52going to
25:53turn on
25:53the kids,
25:55the
25:55grandparents.
25:56Or
26:01hell is
26:01coming to
26:02breakfast.
26:02He warned
26:03us.
26:04And so
26:05you are
26:06not to
26:06take it
26:06personal.

27:26But you're
27:27not going
27:27to shift.

29:13people criticize
29:13me on my
29:14own staff
29:15over the
29:15years.
29:19And
29:22people have
29:22been amazed
29:23at me how
29:23little effect
29:24that has on
29:25me.
29:26It's just
29:28like it's
29:32five...
29:33flies,
29:33swatting
29:34flies.
29:35You just
29:35do that.
29:36You don't
29:36put a lot
29:36into it.
29:38You ever
29:38push a fly
29:39off you
29:39like that?
29:42You're not
29:42killing yourself.
29:43You're not
29:43getting emotionally
29:44upset.
29:45You're not
29:45working hard.
29:46You're just
29:46stop that.

30:18Mistakes

30:32adjustment,

31:03won't have

31:05you down.

32:44his offering.
32:45They needed
32:46the money for

32:47projects,

32:53they gave
32:53him the
32:54boot.

32:59money that
33:00came in
33:00for him,
33:01they kept
33:01it all.
