00:02Welcome to another edition of Mi-Anne Tries One Brand for the whole week and tells you all about it.
00:10And Other Stories is a fashion brand actually owned by H&M that has beautiful clothing.
00:16But they actually have a very big beauty collection that I have always known about but never tried.
00:24So I decided to get a bunch of stuff, an entire full face of makeup and even some hair care
00:29stuff.
00:29And try it this week and we will get into it.

00:40First things first is foundation.
00:42So this is the And Other Stories cream foundation that I've been wearing this week.
00:46I wear the shade Trace Sand.
00:52And I gotta say I was pretty surprised by this formula.
00:55I was expecting something called a cream foundation to be quite thick on the thicker side.
01:01The bottle itself kind of looks like Estee Lauder Double Wear.
01:04So in my mind, I was expecting fuller coverage.
01:07This is very, very sheer and very, very dewy.
01:12I definitely needed to powder over it, especially in the T-zone.
01:16But if you're into this like very glossy skin kind of finish, it's quite nice.
01:21Next up is my favorite product of the entire week.
01:26The And Other Stories Powder Blushes.
01:29They are so, so pretty.
01:33Not only do they come in like the most beautiful like punchy colors, but they are so pigmented on.
01:40You just need like the smallest little touch and it like will cover your whole cheek.
01:43Give you a really fresh, healthy glow.
01:45This orangey tangerine shade actually wore all over the lid as an eyeshadow.
01:48This pink is also gorgeous as an eyeshadow too.
01:50Highly recommend.
01:52Next up is highlighter.
01:53And Other Stories has this luminizing powder that I use as my highlighter.
01:56It is a nice kind of champagne.
01:59This is the only shade I believe.
02:01And it is very, very natural.
02:05I would say it kind of has like a candle lit kind of glow.
02:08Definitely doesn't have a lot of intense sparkle.
02:11You can see it for sure when you put it on your cheekbone, but it's not going to give you
02:15like a megawatt shine.
02:16I can pile it on really and it's not going to be too blinding.
02:20So I think it's a very good everyday one.
02:21Moving on to eyeshadow.
02:23So And Other Stories is a few eyeshadows.
02:26This is the only quad that I got.
02:28This is the Tartan Club Eye Color Palette.
02:31These shadows feel very similar to the blushes.
02:34The powders are on the slick side.
02:36Like when you touch it, you can definitely feel some kind of silicone in this formula that gives it a
02:41lot of slip.
02:43Because of that though, they do, they can catch on the lid.
02:47So if you're wearing just eyelid primer on your lid and it's kind of on the wet side, I would
02:52suggest slapping a little bit of powder on your lid before applying these.
02:57Then they blend beautifully.
02:58They are gorgeous shades.
03:00This shade in particular, this mid-tone brown, is a great blending shade.
03:03I love this shade to deepen up the crease under the eye like I'm wearing today.
03:08A nice neutral palette.
03:09I think for $15, this is definitely on the pricey side for a quad.
03:14I mean you can go to the drugstore and get an excellent trio or quad from Wet n Wild or
03:20Covergirl.
03:21So totally up to you.
03:23So next up on the eye front is this eye marker.
03:27This is called the Bombazine Black Eye Marker and it is really nice.
03:31Open it up.
03:32Really classic felt tip.
03:33But it is very small and very precise.
03:36It makes it really easy to draw on wings.
03:39It's very black.
03:39It is long wearing.
03:41I'm wearing it today.
03:42Really easy to use.
03:44Highly recommend this one actually.
03:45It's a very good eyeliner.
03:47So last thing on the makeup front is lipstick.
03:49So this is the And Other Stories like classic lipstick.
03:53It is very moisturizing.
03:55Pretty pigmented.
03:57I think it's a really classic lipstick.
03:59Satin finish.
04:00Good pigment.
04:01Easy to wear.
04:02Very comfortable.
04:03So on to hair.
04:04And this was actually the category that I was the most excited about because And Other Stories
04:08recently launched a hair care range in the past year or so.
04:11This is the Restore Shampoo.
04:13This shampoo is color safe.
04:14It doesn't have sulfates.
04:16It is a very thin shampoo if that makes sense.
04:20It comes out and I was actually surprised by how liquidy it was.
04:24It smells really good.
04:25Let me see.
04:28I mean all of And Other Stories stuff smells amazing because they do really good scents.
04:33Really nice texture.
04:35I actually just washed my hair yesterday and my hair air dried and I like the way that
04:39it feels.
04:40Didn't lather a lot in the shower which I took as a good sign because it is sulfate free.
04:44So it's not going to have all that foaming that a sulfate shampoo would.
04:48So I like this one.
04:50So next up is this Restore Treatment which I used as a hair conditioner.
04:54It has coconut hibiscus extract in it, vegetable keratin.
04:58Left it in for like three minutes in the shower.
05:01Again, it smells really good.
05:03The next hair product is this Fullness Thickening Cream which is supposed to give thickness,
05:07body, heat protection.
05:08I never heat saw my hair but it does give you heat protection if you need it.
05:11So I would use this in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner.
05:15After getting out of the shower my hair was kind of wet but towel dried.
05:17I would put a dollop of this through my mid length and end and then scrunch before air drying.
05:22It kind of gave my hair a little bit of frizz control.
05:25The first day after I've washed my hair, my hair tends to get very fluffy and frizzy.
05:31This is the day after I wash my hair and it's actually much more controlled.
05:35Normally it's like bigger and fuzzier.
05:39I think this definitely helped contain that.
05:42Last but not least, body care.
05:44After the shower I put on this Eletaria body milk which is so cute.
05:51It comes in a little like milk carton style packaging.
05:54It also smells really good.
05:57Let's try it.
06:00Like a warm milk that your mom may put a little bit of honey in.
06:05Like a little vanilla, a little cinnamon.
06:08And then you drink it before bed.
06:09You have a nice mom.
06:11She never did that.
06:11But it's what I imagine might happen.
06:15It's a nice body lotion.
06:16It's very lightweight, soaks in really fast.
06:19It's not the kind of body lotion that you need to like wait around naked in like before you put
06:23on clothing.
06:25I do that anyway though.
