00:02Last week, I got my face touched by the same woman that touches Rihanna's face.
00:09The woman in question is Priscilla Ohno.
00:12She is the global makeup artist for Fenty Beauty and a go-to makeup artist for Rihanna,
00:17including her iconic Met Gala look.
00:20And she was gracious enough to show me how to get a Rihanna look from step 1 to step 50?
00:30I don't know, there are a lot of steps.
00:31And then I tried it myself to varying degrees of success.
00:38So without further ado, let's go and meet Priscilla.

00:48Hey guys, I'm here with Priscilla Ohno and she is going to bless my face today.
00:53I am so excited.
00:54Super excited.
00:55You've got a look plan.
00:55I know, I have a look plan.
00:56It's actually the look that I did for Rihanna for our Singapore launch event.
01:01Wait, that's awesome.
01:02My family is from Singapore.
01:03Really?
01:04Yeah.
01:04Oh my god.
01:05I'm going to start off by using ProFilter to really ensure that your makeup won't get oily
01:09or greasy throughout the day.
01:10Our ProFilter foundation, and this is in the color 240, I'm going to shake this a bit, which
01:15is really important.
01:15I think a lot of people will forget.
01:17Yeah.
01:18These foundations are...
01:18It separates a little bit.
01:19A little bit.
01:20And then I'm going to put some on my palette.
01:22Rihanna's obviously very good at makeup as well.
01:25Yes.
01:25Super good.
01:26What is it like having her in the chair?
01:29When I first started doing her makeup, it was a little nerve-wracking just because she's
01:33so good herself.
01:34But then after a while, it just made me feel even more comfortable because I feel like she
01:39gets it.
01:40How did you first meet her?
01:41I met her, I want to say it was like seven, eight years ago on the set of one of
01:45her music
01:45videos, SNM.
01:47I was actually doing makeup for the background.
01:49And when she got on set, I feel like as soon as I looked at her, she kind of looked
01:55at me
01:56and she came up to me and she started complimenting me right away like, I love your hair.
02:00It's so cool.
02:01I love your skin.
02:02You have great skin.
02:03Just being so down to earth and cool like a girlfriend.
02:07The director came up to me and was like, hey, Rihanna wants to know if you want to be
02:10in her music video.
02:11And I was like, yeah.
02:12I have white, spiky hair and I'm wearing yellow lipstick.
02:16It's really cool.
02:17Did you do my own makeup?
02:17Yeah, I did my own makeup.
02:19It was really cool.
02:19A little bit of suede matchstick and a little bit of amber.
02:22Amber is this really cool, unique, like cool tone.
02:25I like to mix a little bit of the cool tone with the warm tone.
02:28I like to start kind of like where your cheekbone indents, maybe like a little bit above.
02:33And then I like to just kind of run it along the perimeter of your face.
02:36Our new Profilter concealer.
02:38I'm so excited to try these.
02:41If you're 240 in foundation, your perfect match would be 240 in concealer.
02:45Oh, I love that they're going to match.
02:46So you're 240 in foundation, but I'm going to use 235.
02:49I'm using the new concealer brush, which is really cute.
02:54Like to kind of like slope it down on the nose, maybe do a little bit on the chin,
02:58a little on the forehead, just to kind of give your face a little bit of light.
03:02And then I'll go back in with the precision sponge and kind of blend that in.
03:06So 50 shades is a ton.
03:08Right.
03:09Kind of unprecedented in terms of the concealer category.
03:12Right.
03:12Why 50?
03:14Well, we had to have a shade for every foundation.
03:16And when we have 50 foundations, everyone deserves their perfect concealer shade.
03:20So it's just, it was only right.
03:22We're going to give yourself a little bit of a glow.
03:24This is rum matchstick and I like putting it on the tops of the cheekbones.
03:28Okay.
03:28So now I'm going to do a little bit of blush.
03:30I'm going to take some yacht life.
03:32Amazing names.
03:33Right.
03:34They all have amazing names.
03:35Rihanna chooses all the names.
03:37I'm going to take our new loose powder.
03:42What is it?
03:42We did eight tones so that you kind of have like that perfect translucent color for your shade range.
03:47And you can use this all over the face too.
03:49So now I'm going to give your eye a little bit of Kumin Get It, which is this really gorgeous,
03:52warm brown.
03:54And I'm just warming up the crease with it.
03:56This is the exact color that I used for the Singapore launch event with Rihanna.
04:00And then I'm going to go into the palette and I'm going to pick up on Mirage, which is this
04:05really pretty like skin tone light pink.
04:07And I'm just going to apply this on your eyelid.
04:09The brush is wet so it kind of gives a little sheen to the eye.
04:12And I like to press like the color just always comes out a little bit better.
04:16That looks really pretty.
04:18You know what?
04:18I'm going to take whatever is left over on my brush and I'm going to kind of just coat
04:21it on your brow bone too.
04:22And I'm going to go in now with Hustle Baby.
04:25Rih and I love using this on the brow bone.
04:27And this has like a pop of highlight.
04:33Eyeliner time.
04:34I know we love a fly liner.
04:37And I kind of like to do my wing depending on the eye shape when the eyes open because
04:42that's what it's going to look like.
04:43So now close your eyes and I'm going to go and I'm going to fill it in.
04:51Lash time!
04:53These are kind of drama but I'm kind of into it.
04:56Oh no, honey.
04:57These are bomb.
04:58I'm excited.
04:59So good.
05:03Girl, you stunning!
05:06I'm going to take some Stunna lip paint.
05:08I like to do like a heart shape at the top of the lip.
05:16And then personally, I like to go back in with the precise, the brush and do the corner,
05:21the inner corners of the mouth.
05:24Stunning!
05:25It looks so good.
05:27Okay, I'm going to do a little bit of that Kumin Get It underneath the bottom lash line.
05:36I'm just going to do a little liner right at the lash line.
05:39You want some extra glow.
05:40So let's go in with some Girl Next Door, which is gorgeous.
05:44I'm going to mix the two together.
05:45Take the cheek hugging brush and I'm just going to coat it right on top of your cheekbone.
05:49Take it up to your temple area.
05:51Ready?
05:52Are we ready?
05:55I love the eyelashes.
05:57Aren't they gorgeous?
05:58They look so cool.
05:59Oh, I forgot that I wanted to do something on you.
06:01Your beauty mark.
06:02I'm going to enhance it.
06:02I'm going to use a little bit of Hennessy and a little bit of Kumin Get It.
06:06My skin looks so good.
06:08Right?
06:08Your skin looks incredible.

06:18So I tried it and it wasn't too bad actually.
06:23Priscilla gave me a lot of tips on how to apply everything.
06:27The fun new launch of the day was definitely the concealers in 50 shades.
06:33So incredible.
06:34They went on really well.
06:35I think that overall my base lasted super well throughout the day.
06:40I actually didn't have to oil blot at all.
06:44So that's a plus.
06:45She went ham on the bronzer.
06:50Way more than I normally wear.
06:52So I really like piled that on when I did it myself.
06:55And I think that what Priscilla did really did show me that I can probably afford to do a little
07:00bit more.
07:00The eyeshadow look actually was pretty simple.
07:03I really liked it.
07:03Definitely a look that I would wear on the day to day.
07:05The only thing that I think was pretty difficult were the false eyelashes.
07:11False eyelashes are really annoying.
07:13They're not hard to put on per se.
07:17I just felt them constantly on my eyelids.
07:20Like no matter where I looked I could see the lashes like in my periphery.
07:24Like there was just no escaping them.
07:26But they did look really good in photos.
07:33So maybe I'd wear them again.
07:35We'll see.
07:35Jury's still out on that one.
07:36And then we moved on to lips.
07:38This was actually the first time that I'd ever tried the Senna lip paint.
07:42I personally think it did look good on me if I do say so myself.
07:46And then on top of that we went in with a little bit more highlighter.
07:50Which I love.
07:51And that was pretty much it.
07:53It was a pretty straightforward look.
07:55But it was really fun to see Priscilla's approach to makeup.
07:58And also learn a bit more about how Rihanna and Priscilla collaborate.
