00:00To highlight Candace's rich brown eyes,
00:02we're creating a smoky eye with a high contrast violet accent.
00:09Apply a cream eyeshadow base so that your eyeshadow won't slip or fade.
00:12Apply a light brown shimmery eye pencil on the eyelid,
00:15focusing on the inner and outer corners.
00:17Blend with the brush to create a diffused, shimmery base layer.
00:20Apply the same pencil along the lower lash all the way to the tear duct.
00:24We're using a violet eyeshadow with a royal blue tone
00:27to complement the warmth of Candace's brown eyes.
00:30Brush across the top lash line, blending up.
00:32We want it smoky, but not too smoky.
00:34Apply to the outside of the bottom lash and blend toward the inner eye.
00:38Now for the pop.
00:39Apply the bright violet in the inner tear duct, then diffuse the edges.
00:43Don't be afraid to get colorful.
00:44A fluffy stroke of neutral shadows smooths out the edges
00:47and completes this day-to-night transitional look.
