00:20preferences in the broader entertainment industry continues to shift away from physical disc to
00:24digital, physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will
00:29be discontinued starting January 2028. Following this date, new games will be available on
00:34PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only. The full post alludes to the
00:38fact that demand for digital media far outstrips physical discs. Recently, it was revealed that
00:43Rockstar Games will not be releasing a physical version of GTA 6. After this announcement,
