00:00The message to BHP is clear from our members. If they do not listen to our members' claims,
00:05if they do not concede ground, our members may, will and instruct this union that they
00:12are willing to go on strike again. Fundamentally, this dispute is about respect.
00:18The way this dispute ends is with our members and workers here at Portland Headland getting
00:23treated with the respect they deserve. When we have a pay differential in the workplace
00:28for skilled electricians up to $80,000 a year, they're saying that's not good enough.
00:33And these workers are working for one of the most profitable countries on our planet,
00:37with some of the best iron ore resources that you'll find on earth. And yet, their wages are
00:43falling behind construction workers in capital cities around the country. Whether it's Perth,
00:48Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, you'll see rates ahead, notwithstanding that our whole country
00:54depends on the work that these people do.
00:58the average- We know they're doing fine.
00:59We also want to help them keep changingering those things, aren't they, your employees?
01:01We want to help them be الزvolts parents?
